Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
SayCet - One Day at Home
SebastiAn - Notre jour viendra

Hadn't heard of that "Notre jour viendra"
Listening to Retro right now. All my love.
Edit: Looks like Retro is pretty much the Derezzed of the Tron soundtrack. With everything else being normal soundtracky kind of music that isn't quite as fun.
Pink Floyd - The Wall
ohGr - Undeveloped
Rage Against the Machine - The Battle of Los Angeles
Skinny Puppy - Too Dark Park
Depeche Mode - Violator
Damn your are a huge punk fan arent you? I am to, you should check out repeater by fugazi and double nickels on the dime by the minutemen, if you haven't already
way ahead of you buddy
1X&Y - Coldplay
5.Revolver (or Abbey Road) - The Beatles
2.Yankee Hotel Foxtrot - Wilco
3.The Joshua Tree - U2
4.Band on the Run - Paul McCartney
I like all Coldplay albums equally but somehow X&Y is my favorite. I do like their new one, Mylo Xyloto, a lot but X&Y was their roots and has some great ones like The Hardest Part.
This was actually very hard for me to decide because I like all albums equally.
If I could bring 5 more...
6. A Rush of Blood to the Head - Coldplay
7. The Whole Love - Wilco
8. All Things Must Pass - George Harrison
9. Chicago II - Chicago
10. The Best of Bread - Bread
Pendulum - Hold Your Colour
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Daft Punk -Discovery
Justice - Cross
And either:
Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
or
Caravan Palace - Caravan Palace
The fragile by Nine inch nails
The Downward spiral by Nine inch nails
Mary Ann meets the gravediggers and other short stories by Regina Spektor
Jonas Alaska by Jonas Alaska
X&Y by Coldplay
Untrue by Burial
This album just flows really well, I've never gotten bored of it throughout long rides on public transport every day. It's nearly a soundtrack to my boring life.
For Long Tomorrow by Toe
Toe are one of my favourite bands, and For Long Tomorrow I believe is the better of their two full releases. Such chill music yet so much thought.
Works Volume 1 by Emerson, Lake and Palmer
The album isn't their best, but it has good variety. It feels kinda like 4 EPs. I could imagine getting bored of just 4 albums on an island, which I know is pushing the concept of just a metaphoric reason to narrow down your 5 top albums, but this album would fulfil entertainment on a stranded island great. The classic pieces are unforgettable, the ballads are too singable, the drumming is just badass, and the full band tracks are just a cherry on top.
Panopticon by Isis
Kinda the same as For Long Tomorrow, exept this album has the distorted guitar abuse and aggressive vocals that just give it a nice variety. And besides the boring Altered Course (just my opinion), it's hard to stop listening to the album when you've started So Did We.
American Football by American Football
I connect with this album pretty well. Hard to review it summarily, but the album really appeals to me, more than something branded with "emo" should.
I know I wasn't required to give reviews or anything, but I did anyways because I felt putting out 5 random albums is a bit pointless.
This isn't a "top 5 favourite albums" thread so it's okay.

Give me time. There's a LOT of work to go into with that. I hear David Sylvian's solo work is worth hearing too.
