They will release the devkit when they cannot make any major profits from the game anymore. i.e when the next CoD is released.

That's 25% of what you paid for the game itself, which included all new content and a singleplayer campaign and a zombie mode and two mini-games and all the work it took implementing new weapons etc etc you get the idea. Each map costs three dollars. What if they charged that much for the game's 14 original maps? That would be 42 dollars.

I paid ~15$ for minecraft, countless hours played. I paid 60$ for black ops, and now ~12 dollars for the expansion? I don't know if it's really worth it.

I wish they could release an improved MW2, I loved it.

I'm not really surprised at the price, it's still Activision after all. That being said, I'll pass on this, I barely play Black Ops anyways.
