Is it just me or is it starting to be more about the papers then the actual knowledge.
Been under a rock all your life? Good luck to everyone.
Got my AS results, UUD, Shockingly bad... brb, Going to go cry in a corner.
How did you manage that? Did you realise before that you'd done badly?
Don't worry about AS too much guys. On average, you go up a grade in A2, and if put some effort in it doesn't take much to go up 2, even 3. Last year I got EED, for A2 I got BBC.

Well I got C E E U. Clearing here I come :(
I might retake the AS year and just go to uni a year late.. (If I get the grades then of course)
Got Cs in computing and photography A2. Just as planned.
I fucked up, but still off to uni f*ck yer!
Well, my friend got AAAC and was accepted to his Uni. I on the otherhand, am feeling much less optimistic.
I might retake the AS year and just go to uni a year late.. (If I get the grades then of course)
alot of my friends last year went and retook the AS year. They all worked even harder and got awesome grades, alot of people at Uni are different ages so being a bit older when you start wont even matter.
Do you only take three subjects for your exams? In ireland we have to take 3 compulsary, Irish, English, Maths, plus 4 other subjects for our exams . Generally a science subject, history or geography, maybe woodwork or technology. How do the americans get into uni? I know the school system is different over there, what with your "8th grade" and "high school" tomfoolery""
Do you only take three subjects for your exams?
You can take however many you want. The average, however, is 4 at AS (first year), then you drop the one you did worst in to do 3 at A2. You can do 2 if you wish, but that's bare minimum and you'd need good marks to get the UCAS points.
ABBCE Should be AABCE but I needed 240 for an A and I got 238 :@
I got ABCD. Even though im not going to uni this year or the unis that i would apply for wouldnt care about the grades im pretty happy :)
C E D ICT, History, English Lit Kinda dissapointed, because I know I didn't work hard enough to get good grades but I still expected atleast 2 C's. One of my friends got a UUUD, he wants to join the army D:
I failed U Biology, E ICT, U Design and technology
B maths C business D media Was predicted all E's lmao
I made a mistake I did get AABCE
My old school had to do RS/RE for GCSE but the schools which were just like half a mile away didn't. Weird huh? I missed alot of school due to personal reasons, wasn't me bunking. I'm hoping I get 5 A-C's so I can do the AD Course in IT at Reading.
It's nothing about distance, rather if you go to Catholic Schools or CofE then it's pretty much compulsory. The main reason schools take it is that it's another GCSE.
Media B English C History D
I made a mistake I did get AABCE
So you got over 240 UCAS points then?
