Perfurmly should start developing the parts of his brain that have been impaired by colonialism. At least then he'll stop trying to stir up class hatred. I have never been in favor of being gratuitously indelicate. I have also never been in favor of sticking my head in the sand or of refusing to lend support to the thesis that we may never learn the answers to some of the more vexing questions surrounding his motives. I used to profess that Perfurmly was a self-aggrandizing nose-in-the-air snob. However, after seeing how he wants to progressively enlarge and increasingly centralize the means of oppression, exploitation, violence, and destruction, I now have an even lower opinion of him. In fact, I'd even go so far as to say that we are a nation of prostitutes. By this I mean that as long as we are fat, warm, and dry we don't care what Perfurmly does. It is precisely that lack of caring that explains why it doesn't do us much good to become angry and wave our arms and shout about the evils of Perfurmly's quips in general terms. If we want other people to agree with us and join forces with us, then we must show principle, gumption, verve, and nerve.
To inform you of the grounds upon which I base my obiter dicta, I offer the following. Perfurmly should stop calling me a crude brigand. Although I've been called worse things by better people, Perfurmly is not a responsible citizen. Responsible citizens purge the darkness from his heart. Responsible citizens definitely do not turn over our country to power-hungry propagandists. I recently heard him tell a bunch of people that he has a duty to conceal the facts and lie to the rest of us, under oath if necessary, perjuring himself to help disseminate the True Faith of Lysenkoism. I can't adequately describe my first reaction to this notion; I simply don't know how to represent uncontrollable laughter in text. My eventual goal for this letter is to give Perfurmly a rhadamanthine warning not to don the mantel of onanism and subvert time-tested societal norms. I'm counting on you for your support.
