I hope Mads' character is more of a frenemy than an actual villain, I wanna be pals with the doot platoon.
He might be like Gray Fox
Interesting trailer but have to be sceptical as it's been 13 years since his last good game. Curious to how the game plays though.
more like [sp] two [/sp] years
Why does the lamp on their backs seem to function only in the presence of an unborn child
They actually seem to "turn on" when the eldritch beings appear. Maybe some sort of detection system. They also look similar to flowers in a way. Maybe the flowers in the beginning of the trailer will be important.
But Sam's only started working when he held the baby And mister stabs himself one stopped working when he was being dragged up(down?)
I guess the babies power/use the device. They definitely point towards the location of the beings though.
Oh yeah something else I noticed, on the baby case there was a little keychain of Ludens: [t]https://i.redd.it/khg2ppucdm201.png[/t]
what if babies are batteries.
Some stuff from Reddit: Skullface has the same outfit as the Corpse Disposal Team and a baby canister but with a different radar thing: [t]https://i.redd.it/oywc9o6egn201.png[/t] "Corpse Disposal Team 6": [t]https://i.redd.it/hlpg4htukn201.jpg[/t] Ryan Karazija of Low Roar plays the man under the truck: [t]https://i.imgur.com/wWBHYAI.jpg[/t] and on Sam's suit: [t]https://i.imgur.com/9WQvJ70.png[/t] 0914-137
Psalm 137 - Verse 09 is 14 words long and reads as follows: Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.
Maybe we can upgrade our light radar with different models Like floaty skulls one.
Also on Sam's suit it says PORTER, and according to Wiktionary the word "porter" comes from:
[The] Anglo-Norman portour, from Old French porteor, from Latin portātor, from past participle of portare (“to carry”)
Maybe Radarman threw Sam the canister because he is the "porter" for the baby in case shit goes south on their missions?
Ryan Karazija of Low Roar plays the man under the truck: [t]https://i.imgur.com/wWBHYAI.jpg[/t] 0914-137
Is Kojima a real life shounen anime character with the power of friendship, it's crazy the amount of connections he's made since leaving Konami
[t]https://b.catgirlsare.sexy/e4K_.png[/t] that tubular thing that's coming out of the giant that absorbs the suicidal guy is that a giant umbilical cord? it's kinda twisted like one, and it's definitely coming out of its stomach
more like [sp] two [/sp] years
No.

Mammoth cock!
I think the game may take place over an extended time period. In one trailer we have a standard looking tank rolling over a bridge with a squad of WWII era soldiers walking in formation behind it, in the sky there are prop-planes flying by a rainbow, then in this one fairly advanced outfits and robotics as well as a futuristic jeep. While the soldier could easily be reanimated dead or something, the tank and airplanes make that a bit suspect. Maybe its a sort of alternate history, or perhaps the beings they fight exist on a higher dimension so they exist front-to-back in our worlds history
The trailers just confuse me more but i'm excited for it anyway, its weird having this many minutes of trailers but not a single fragment of the gameplay itself.
Ryan Karazija of Low Roar plays the man under the truck: [t]https://i.imgur.com/wWBHYAI.jpg[/t]
Voice acted by Yuri Lowenthal though, curiously.
I forgot that it was a PS4 exclusive, sort of sad, I will never get to play this, would be cool to play a game with Mads Mikkelsen in it. I still have no idea what the game is going to be like :v:
I recall they said it was coming to PC too tho?
One thing that messes with me is the supposed design of the hand monsters. It's apparently a bipedal humanoid that can walk on vertical surfaces only using its two legs; which also have hands for feet. It seems whenever the alien goops you or you die, you turn into one of the hand monsters. Looks like the babies either prevent this from happening or they make things even worse when it happens. It also looks like you will keep coming back to life, or the aliens do; like in Dark Souls or something.
I love how the trailers make no sense at first until you actually take the time to analyze them, and then they start to reveal a rather detailed and complicated world. It's unique to see something like this. Most people wouldn't trust the average viewer to make up their own theories and normally just spoil everything. Kojima wants us to think, and he wants us to speculate. Bless this crazy man.
Happy that this game seems to also have the composer from MGS V on board. I loved the original music in that game.

It's the same reason I love the Combine and the G-Man in Half-Life, they're rather unexplained at face value but once you dig into the franchise and try to figure out what's going on you get a picture, and though nothing is ever confirmed you can speculate legitimately on the clues you find. Just adds to it that the game has a really cool technology aesthetic. The mascot (Ludens) with that really cool scuba/space-suit, Mads with his weird "goes-up-in-flames"-helmet, the baby-tanks and their connectors. All just really cool stuff.
I recall they said it was coming to PC too tho?
I doubt it will ever release on pc as it's using the decima engine.
can we just stop for a minute and fucking appreciate how good it is to have someone happy to make completely batshit fucking crazy bullshit? like, holy shit in a market currently saturated with sequels, cash-in multiplayer games, "playing it safe", kojima's there making a game about mpreg corpse grabber dudes with trailers so abstract they make jackson pollock paintings look like microsoft visio i've forgotten what it was like to be excited for a story in a videogame, and this shit makes me remember it
"United Cities Of America" "BRIDGE" Perhaps cities are isolated from each other due to weird portal storm shit? Also the weird light tool on his shoulder seemed to reveal the monster, and I think the dude who died was later the creepy guy on top of the truck?
No.
MGSV might not be his greatest game, but its still a really good ass game. Its got more charm and better gameplay than most other games on the market.
Although this was another cool, interesting yet confusing trailer I really hoped they would show actual gameplay. So far I'm sure all we saw was in-engine but that doesn't represent the actual gameplay.
why are there umbilical cords just going into the sky?
