Here's a good top for a clean tank. Get an algae eater or two and some snails. Three big snails. They will reproduce and soon you will have too many snails to count. But those do look awesome. It makes me want to get a tank in my room.
I've had 2 plecos A snowball which sadly died a few months after i got it, i dont think it was well when i was sold it. [img_thumb]http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q180/GCDiscus/00polkadot002.jpg[/img_thumb] and an L177 plec (i dont know its name, its sunbeam or something) which i still have but its incredibly shy, any movement and it's gone in the blink of an eye! [img_thumb]http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q180/GCDiscus/00iriryellow002.jpg[/img_thumb] They're not my pictures, but same species so you get the idea. And my plec just doesn't seem to eat anything >.>

I want some fish now just so I can have one of these tanks.
As anybody with fish will know, no matter how nice your fish tank gets it will be encrusted in shit/slime after a short time no matter how often you clean the tank. At the moment we have two tanks, a small orb with a big fancy rock in the middle with plants growing on it which has three frogs in it (Used to have a Fighting Fish in it, was there to stop it from murdering everything in the other tank) and a large cylinder with standard plants and gravel and rocks in it as well as a souvenir Leaning Tower of Pisa which vanished from my room one day.
I wish my fishtank looked like the last one.
As anybody with fish will know, no matter how nice your fish tank gets it will be encrusted in shit/slime after a short time no matter how often you clean the tank.
We had snails and an algae eater and it was pretty much fine.
They are efficient but they don't always get everything. And my filter collects a tonne of crap every month or so
BiOrb and BiUbe?
Yes, actually.
That last one is awesome, it also reminds me of Jurassic Park.
Yes, actually.
They are the awesomes.
I want a fish :saddowns:
I used to have around 20 in a huge aquarium. Fucking zebra fishes ! Those fuckers killed my guppies and my rainbow fishes. I hate them. Will never buy zebra fish ever again. :C You know how sad is it to see your guppies swimming with one eye or with the ribs gone while leaving a blood trail behind ?
These are just as bad, I used to have 2 of them... 1 killed the other then moved on to my guppies. I started with 5 guppies, i now have 1 with a ruined tail and top fin. 1 died of some intestine problem, 1 got its head bitten off and the insides sucked out... i felt so sick when i woke up and saw it floating around hollow. 2 died of shock from fin nipping. :sigh: I only ever did it at night as well and i only found out truly what they are when it was too late. :sigh: still, i took it to a fish shop and hopefully it got a new home. [editline]07:20PM[/editline] I know how you feel man
I want an eel.
I'm tempted do something like this once I get my Lizards. [editline]04:11PM[/editline] Of course it wouldn't be even nearly as badass.
Tree of life off Lion King :colbert:
I want my fish to swim over the mountaintops :allears:
I want one of those and I don't even like having fish as pets!
Looks like crysis.
Looks like mountains.
I wanna do this with mineral oil so I can submerge my computer in it so it looks like a giant. Probably wouldn't work though :(
I wish I had one of these
They do. What most aquascaping people do is have what is called a sump underneath the tank. A sump is basically a smaller fish tank underneath into which water is pumped. The sump has a filter and a heater in it, so the water from the main tank gets filtered and heated there and constantly circulates between tanks, so all you need in the main one is a small powerhead to pump the water into the sump and an outlet to get it back into the main. Fishkeepers are geniuses.
i have one of thoso they work good but you often need to put in water due to the fact it evapourates . They are also used for tanks that a very large like my 210 gallon one .
