Oh wow, didn't expect that this video would become so popular. Thanks for the reviews guys, I'm glad that you liked the direction of the video. I have a question for you guys. If there would be a sequel, what would you expect it to be?
About the protector escpaing probably. Perhaps sparking something in other MPF? I dunno. I just LOVED it so much. I linked it to each and every one of my friends. It actually made one of them tear up. And I really loved it. Great job!

Considering the story though I don't think there is any way to fix it. It would be really cool to see the interactions of citizens and rebels with rebelling combine metro police during street war. With your level of presentation, that would be amazing. Also glowing ears.

What I would personally very much enjoy to see would be a different character (or the same in a different moment/timeline) who is also part of Civil Protection and who /doesn't/ rebel but isn't the typical hard-ass either. Show him reluctantly doing the things that CP's do, while also shedding light on /why/ he does them-- better accommodations for him and his family, food, mechanical reproduction, et cetera. Give it a bit of a tragic 'he lives a terrible life but a life nonetheless' kinda feel. That's something I've never seen done before and that's something I think you would excel at doing.
I was so disappointed when the video ended and a menu screen didn't pop up and it wasn't an intro cinematic to the best HL2 mod I've ever played

While that is certainly an option I think there's a lot more mileage in taking peeks into the lives of other characters in the background of the HL2 universe (or the same characters at a different time) and examine their conflict between doing what's right and only looking after them and theirs.
Please make more

There's a lot you could do with that kinda template, even outside of Civil Protection. You could look at citizens who are reasonably loyal to the Combine, or perhaps a look into Breen and his administration; maybe the journey of a man towards transhumanization and enrollment within the Transhuman Arm. Plenty of opportunity.
and I 100% guarantee that if exactly this situation played out in an RP server, the metrocop would get banned for RDMing or demoted for not doing his job.
Not so fast, shitbag! In serious HL2RP servers, Metropolice can do shit like this. I've done it before. The Metropolice unit in question is deemed rogue and the other units hunt him down.
Pretty sure that's still Rochelle's face, just higher quality. It was Rochelle's head on a citizen's body. Not that difficult to understand.
I honestly didn't recognize it at first as her, it looks more like it's "higher quality" in the same way that the HL2 Cinematic FakeFactory characters are.

I used to run a HL2RP Server back in the later days of 9.0.4 and early Gmod 10. We had fun stuff like this happen all the time. It made the administrator stay on his toes because he didn't know if the officer(s) guarding his office or escorting him were going to attempt the start of a coup. There were a good handful of times a huge badass street fight would ensue; causing intense chaos that left everyone satisfied with the experience.
