I bet most of the arguments between MRA's and feminism are based on misunderstandings, because besides the people who HATE the opposite gender, everyone wants essentially the same thing. If people would just...understand each other better I think there would be no issue.

There's confusion about the inherent beliefs and definitions of different groups involved, that's why using sweeping generalisations like Thunderfoot does is extremely unhelpful.

When he compares particular people's views to the overarching views of the entire feminist movement he is generalising all of the views of many people into those of the people he is discrediting. He also actively antagonises people with his click bait titles and nasty disingenuous statements.

Most of those videos don't have quotation marks because he's not being sarcastic, otherwise he would make it very clear with a disclaimer at the beginning of his videos.

Actually yes, most of them do, in that picture alone the majority DO have marks. Of the 11 videos in thunderf00t's library that say the word feminism only 3 of them lack the marks (the anti-Sarkeesian videos). I don't think he needs to add marks to feminist because they really are feminists, but adding marks to feminism makes sense because they are not representative of feminism as a whole(group is not represented by an individual).

About half of them do, 'Feminist logic' doesn't count because its just suggesting that feminists don't have logic. In context most of the quotations seem to be saying that 'Feminism' isn't a thing rather than that the people he's talking about aren't feminists, which certainly fits in better with what he actually says in the videos.

I was explaining what he actually meant when he said you were using 'baby philosophy'. He was attacking your point not you specifically. He didn't say you were stupid or anything, he said the arguments you were using were unfounded and plainly incorrect.
