I like the smell of laundry rooms because I used to hide in one as a kid whenever my parents fought. [editline]06:01PM[/editline] The ocean also brings up a lot of childhood memories, most of the men in my family were fishermen and I ended up spending time around that sort of stuff.
smell of carmex lipbalm
Whenever I smell the air outside at night, I get nostalgia for somewhere or sometime I can't remember. I'm not sure what "it" was, but whatever it was, it was awesome.
The smell of necrosis on a homeless man.
My grandparents house had this old person smell, that was actually nice since they were neat freaks. But my grandpa has since past on and my grandma lives with us, and every now and then I'll go into my grandmas room and the smell will be there. Also the smell of breadsticks from Little Caesars.
your grandma has a distictive smell and every once in a while you go in to her room to enjoy it ..
Instant ramen like how my grandma used to cook it. Smoked sausages. Gunpowder.
Smell of summer. Reminds me of when I was about 8yrs old...good times :'I
I'm starting to realise my house is starting to smell more and more like my grandparent's house. I'm not sure why. I also opened my case containing a very valuable guitar, and that smell..... aww it's so good. I should be selling that guitar but I'm seriously considering keeping it for the personal value and nostalgia-ism. It really reminds me why I fell in love with guitar, it reminds me of walking into the guitar shop and staring at all the expensive ones. I just don't really get that feeling anymore, but that smell sure brings me back.
When you're walking through a forest on some peat / branches / soil on a hot day, it reminds me of camping with my family in the summer.
I have sort of the same thing, but I get nostalgia from just walking down a route I haven't taken for ages. Also when I drink some orange fizzy drink whatever it may be, it reminds me of

The smell of salt water always brings me back to a family vacation we took to Block Island when I was younger.
When I smell beaches I'm taken back to childhood holidays to Queensland. The other day I opened up an old Super Nintendo game box and got a whiff of nostalgia - The excitement of opening a new game. Happens a lot to me, it's awesome and sad at the same time.
Smells are the best way to bring back memories. That's why you remember those things suddenly.
The little compartment underneath sinks. I 'helped' my pawpaw work on the sink when I was 5. Good times............:smith:
