There were 6 casualties, but I believe all of them were attributed to debris/heart attacks. Not technically a battle, it was just the name that was adopted for it.

The part about this that interests me and puts it apart from other sightings is that instead of just looking at it, we made all the effort we could to kill it. Thousands of rounds from the best weaponry in the world at the time and it seemingly didn't do anything to it.
