Here is your typical fashionista:
A friend of mine used to dress this way Well almost all of my clothes comes from little street markets and costs between 10€ - 30€ just my shoes are expensive. but you know, those are as good as they last, so i can spend up to 90€ for a pair of them
I have the same problem with women.
I shop at Wal-Mart.
This is a Topman peacoat: It's £70.
I have that exact coat.
Max i ever paid for shoes is 100$. People who spend 250-300 just for a pair for fucking idiots
Try penetrating other things then.
There's a shop in my town called Huxtables. They stock mainly Levis and Diesel stuff. There, you can buy a pair of boot-cut jeans (long enough to fit my 1.2m long legs) and a long-sleeved top for £15 total. It is the best clothes shop ever. The most expensive item of clothing I own is my shoes, which cost £30.
i aM FAR TOO INTELLECTUAL TO WEAR GOOD LOOKING CLOTHES AS LOOKING GOOD IS MERELY A CHEMICLE IN THE BRANE,,, I WEAR SHIT CLOTHES TO fIGhT the UNINTELLECTUAL sy$TEM
Uh, no, I wear good looking clothes. They're just less expensive than designer clothes.
For those who say they don't understand why we need to buy good looking clothes, well, it's simple, it's to look good. And don't say it doesn't matter, because it does, everyone will notice if you look good, women will notice it, when you are getting a job they notice it, and so on.. You look good, you have a better chance of people treating you good. Most of those who say they don't care if they look good, they usually care, but are way too lazy to do something about it. EDIT: That doesn't mean buy expensive clothes.. just mean look around for good cheap clothes.
Wear what you want. Unless you are in a uniformed group
I just buy what suits me and is comfortable.
uniqlo isn't targeted at normal people, its targeted at faggoty scene kids
Funny how Jeans and a T-Shirt never goes out of style.
You buy clothes that cost more for the MATERIAL, not the looks. God. I'd rather spend £50 on a Polo T-shirt, than some crappy £10 polo shirt from Tesco. I know Polo is a good brand and that their material will last longer. That is why you buy more expensive clothes. That £70 coat would probably end up losing its buttons by the end of the month.
So basically you don't give a shit about your appearance?
I dont think he meant it like that. If you were alone in a island with shops. Would you spend the money on food/water or to 'look good'?.
I just buy what suits me and is comfortable.
This.
The fuck is wrong with going to topman... :argh:
The high prices are partly for the brand name. But to be honest the clothes probably won't shrink and will last. I like cheap clothes if they won't fuck up in the wash. I bought this plain black t-shirt from Primark and after one wash it has shrunk a bit and gone out of shape (it was only £2 so I wasn't expecting it to be perfect but it just shows that sometimes it's worth paying more).
uniqlo isn't targeted at normal people, its targeted at faggoty scene kids
In what way? Their jeans are really good, and they'll take them up for you at little extra cost. They do good plain jumpers, t shirts, jackets and tracksuits. What is faggoty and scene about them?

I think the point of a fashion show is to evoke emotion, imagination. They also want to push the limits, but the point is that no one is wearing that on the streets - it's not intended to be.
I don't understand the whole brand thing. Half of them are named something retarded like 'Fleur de Fleur', anyway.
Nothing, 14 year olds on FP think anything remotely fashionable is gay.
fashionable... what does that even mean now-a-days??
I believe the human race would be better off if clothes kept their original purpose, to protect you from the environment, and nothing more. fashion serves no purpose in the modern world but to waste money and time. I personally dress for utility, buying the most useful and durable things for the lowest price possible.
Obviously it's awesome. Also, personally I've never seen the point of having good looking clothes either. The point of clothes is to keep us warm and protect us. I can't see how wearing a slightly different material would affect this in any way really. But hey, it can't be helped, people are stupid.
sounds like an excuse for dressing ugly.

Their jeans are skinny jeans... skinny jeans are for chicks, thats it its even worse when guys wear em baggy, it just looks so douchey
Well, I don't spend alot of money on clothes, but I always get the stuff with cool looking patterns on it (No Fear do some amazing T-Shirts) and people say it looks allright.
Nothing, 14 year olds on FP think anything remotely fashionable is gay.
ooh nice one, I wear clothes that look good, they're not as "fashionable" as skinny jeans and neon coloured shirts, but whatever. Prove to me that normal jeans and nice shirts/t shirts aren't fashionable
People just like to show off and buy more expensive clothes because they can.
