Max i ever paid for shoes is 100$. People who spend 250-300 just for a pair for fucking idiots
My dad bought a pair of shoes from the Philippines for $10 that lasted him 10 years. When he came here he bought a pair of nikes for $40 to see if they were better because they cost more and they broke down after a year.
We need to bring the afro back.
No i just hate scene/emo kids and skinny jeans
"I hate people who arent fucking just like me and their way of dressing. This makes me a great open minded individual."
I wear tight pants. Label me.
T-Shirt + Jeans, + Fedora hat = Win. [editline]12:35PM[/editline] I just don't understand though. I mean, if you buy a expensive golden PS3 or nice car, you can show off your golden PS3 or nice car. As for clothes, there's not really a point since they both look exactly the same. The best thing to do would be to buy the cheap one, say you bought the expensive one, and use the money you saved to buy more cheap ones. Or some golden PS3's.
Self Reassurance. They just look at the the designer name and go "Hell yea."
I want a suit. Badly
Who cares who made the clothes. Ask yourself 3 questions when buying clothes: 1. Do I like this? 2. Can I pull this off? 3. Is this within my budget? Generally speaking I do the whole retro t-shirt thing, TMNT, Power Rangers and what not, or I get stuff from BustedTees, I really dislike having a brand-name or design across my shirt, it's boring. Jeans from AeroPostale or Bluenotes and Lacoste trainers.
I want a suit. Badly
God damnit, me too.
God damnit, me too.
I bought a George brand tuxedo suit off Walmart for less then 80 bucks.
Haven't we had this conversation before? I can understand if you spend a lot on special occasion clothes (like a tux or a wedding dress) since you want to look your very best on those occasions. If you find something very nice but expensive, don't forget you can probably look just as good with a cheaper alternative. There is a lot of beauty in simplicity that people underestimate.
I want a suit. Badly
Go to an op shop. Sure you look poor, but these places are awesome
No i just hate scene/emo kids and skinny jeans
you clearly know nothing about fashion. scene kids and emo kids aren't the only people who wear skinny jeans, skinny jeans don't crush your balls or cause any problem in that area at all. they are in fact a staple of male fashion in general. the way you call skinny jeans "faggoty" makes you seem fucking juvenile and you're more or less making a total ass of yourself. stop posting.
Function > Fashion /thread
Function > Fashion /thread
I agree, I always find that something that fulfils its purpose well is much better than something that looks good but doesn't do anything to help.
I've got that black coat. Mine costs 100 €, I bought it at H&M.
I get my expensive fashion items from some bloke at the pub, most likely snides but you can't tell the difference at all if they are! :edit: I say fashion, I just mean GStar, Henleys, Bench etc
Oh I'm with Splurgy completely. It's just the prestige of the brand name, if you can afford one then clearly you have money and that's a plus in our materialistic society to get friends and what not. You might as well eat caviar and drive a Ferrari to boot. I regard myself to be stylish and I wear what I think is nice and affordable to my monthly budget regardless of where it's from. Hell I even wear things from Primark. It doesn't need a damn name on it to be "fashionable". edit; I have that peacoat from Topman! Mind you I bought it about 2 years ago.
I hate fashion as well. It's ridiculously pointless.
