Did you feel it communicated the basic idea of Garrysmod well?: Building is an essential part of Garrysmod yes. So in some aspects it has. Did you feel it will appeal to those that would be interested in Gmod? Possibly If you didn’t own Gmod (or don’t) would you feel more willing to buy it after watching this?: I'd like to research it beforehand though. If you haven’t already could you describe why you would or wouldn’t with the question above?: Vaugeness Anything you disliked about the video?: I wasn't mad keen on the music to be honest. It pretty much raped my ears Anything you feel needs to be improved?: The music. Pick something more suitable. The stopmotion was choppy and at parts inconsistent.

It was well made, sadly it had barely anything on what GMod is. Need more giant pillar dicks, sexposing, etc. Nah kidding, it was okay. Seriously though if people didn't know what GMod was already they'd be scratchin their heads at that video.

That was fantastic, well done.

It was nice, but I think that the ending made it look unprofessional. Instead fading in the logo and stuff, maybe you could just replace the logo on the screen with the text "garry's mod"?

The beginning made me believe itzs gonna be good, as soon as the white noise appeared I knew it was gonna be bad.

Get some better music. Didn't feel appropriate for Gmod.

Much better. One suggestion: for where at the bottom it says "Garry's Mod" Use a font called "Coolvetica". Its the same font as the g in the Gmod logo. It can be found here: [url]http://desktoppub.about.com/library/fonts/tx/uc_coolvetica.htm[/url]

Better than anything i'd make, but the music is overboard and it showed no gameplay,nor does it describe the game, all i know about gmod from watching that is a white g in a blue box.

That was cool. You should of added some GMOD clips in between the animation stuff.

I think you should record from ingame instead to give people a better look. For a game like Garry's Mod, that is essentially a completely new concept to most gamers, the idea of what you do wasn't communicated through the fragmented images of game play footage and clay men. Did you feel it will appeal to those that would be interested in Gmod? Bit of a 50/50. Because the idea of Gmod was weakly portrayed, even those interested in what Gmod has to offer might not understand what it's about to begin with. All it seems to do is try to communicate the games premise, and unfortunately that isn't done too well either. It feels very 90's. The game ads back then were pretty cryptic but still related themselves to the game in some way and were always flashy A++

much better, could use some more solid demonstrations of Garry's Mod but still, it's getting there! Music still needs a makeover but at the current stage this is starting to get high marks. A 7.5 out of 10 so far :)

I’m afraid I kinda ran out of time everyone; need to hand this in tomorrow. Thanks for all the input; it sure will help me with my course work. What I’m going to do is rewrite and storyboard it again with fresher ideas. I had quite a bit of fun making this so I’m more then happy to try again. I’ve got half term coming up so if I’m quick enough I can produce it then, however I will be filming another production. Something a friend wrote. If you didn’t own Gmod (or don’t) would you feel more willing to buy it after watching this?: Definately If you haven’t already could you describe why you would or wouldn’t with the question above?: The introduction sucks you in with an idea of something new and exciting (flickering screen suggests something almost like the emegency broadcast system making you want to watch, see what happens) the 'blue-tac people' are an amusing add on, subliminaly it hints at the possibilities being endless since when i was younger i distinctly remember playing with blue-tac to make allsorts of stuff, which is exactly what the 'people' do. the mixture between the screen passing between blue tac people and in game shots of garrysmod basically express the point it is just like a computer game where you can do anything you want at all. Anything you disliked about the video?: Not at all it was a really individual idea Anything you feel needs to be improved?: Perhaps the music, i don't really think anything desperately needs to be changed at all.
