LOLOLOLOL Catholic school LOLOLOLOL
No, the catholic-run schools in Ireland don't usually do religion as a subject because they don't want kids learning about other religions, but the funny thing is, most of the Muslims go to those schools, because they're not co-ed. I go to a multi-denominational school.
Fuck off. This thread isn't about dumb ass stereotypes that aren't true. It's about bullshit religions. More specially the faith these kids are being brainwashed into.
They are stereotypes for a reason. And these bullshit religions are a huge part of your bullshit country. Bigger hypocrites than you doesn't exist on this planet.
I want to kill that woman and every single one of the parents who sent their kids to that camp with a blunt kitchen knife.
[editline]06:41PM[/editline]
Wut. They teach religion in schools?
It's useful to know what people actually believe. You can disprove them better that way.

They teach religions in schools so you can better accept them and not be ignorant enough to force your beliefs on others. In fact, my religious class has been very educatinal about Islam, Buddhism, among others.
That was the wierdist shit... Those poor kids. id be crying too if i had some giant lady yelling at my in tounges and pouring some "Holy" Bottled water on me
I'm Catholic too, and laid back, otherwise I wouldn't survive a day on this forum, but there are crazies in every religion, Catholics have crazies, Protestants have crazies, and everyone can see that Islam has crazies.
Oh and FYI the 5 pillars of Islam are Creed - (There is no God but Allah and Muhammed is his messenger), Prayer - (Pray 5 times a day or something), Fasting - (Fast from sunrise to sunset during Rhamadan), Charity - (give a certain percentage of profits to poor people) and Hajj, or pilgrimage to Mecca, they say that a Muslim should go on a pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in their lifetime. I'm guessing you mean creed as the one some Muslims take for kill all non-believers, but it is their creed, which summarises their beliefs in one sentance, it is the first thing a Muslim baby will hear, and they say it many times a day to try and make it the last thing they say.
I know that shit because religion is a mandatory subject in my school
ahh i'm sorry i meant sixth pillar. I forget there was already 5. You forget this shit during the summer.
But here:
Jihad (considered to be a sixth pillar to some) means religious struggles.
Middle East historian Bernard Lewis argues that "the overwhelming majority of classical theologians, jurists, and traditionalists [i.e., specialists in the hadith] ... understood the obligation of jihad in a military sense."
If you dont open your mouth the words of god cant come out. I bet a lot of priests use that
It looks very horrible. I feel bad for the kids being brainwashed. :(
This is a brilliant documentary, everyone should see it.
And the obese church lady is so obviously a lesbian.
God frowns upon gays :v:
This documentary is really, really good, but also extremely terrifying, and I recommend everyone to see it, especially Americans.
Startling fact: 28 % or so of the American population are evangelicals.
Most of the religions that did oppress non believers were not because of the religion itself, rather the current ruler of the state.
Hey Atheists, in case you didn't know, that's not true anymore.

And almost 0% of Evangelicals do this shit.
Poor kids :/
I see some of these kids walking around in tow of their parents sometimes. Their eyes are wide and scared, their faces red, their hair unkempt.
They are underfed and undereducated, but not even able to socialize with the lowest of the low: only with their own squandered kind. They will never be able to fit in, they will never amount to anything, they are shells of people, filled up with, "God."
And in their poor, small minds, they are saying, "Thank you mom and dad, now I shall not burn in hell forever."

I didn't know you could automatically tell if someone was a Christian or not just by seeing them walking down the street.
shit, this is the most disturbing thing I've seen in my life
I think I died a little inside...
at least the camp got shut down...
I raged after 30 seconds.
I went on and watched the Harry Potter part for the lawls.
Harry Potter has a better moral guideline between pure good, and pure evil, then the bible has. If Harry Potter was in the old testament, he would have been put to death because god was a total asshat. God = Bad parent, who when he can't control his child, murder them with lightning. Jesus = A pretty cool guy who would have made a great god, and somehow posed his way into the bible.
The woman that runs "Jesus Camp" lives in my city.
I watched this in religions class, (it was an option to take it and i just got forced into it by the school cause they didn't have any other class to put me in)
This is completely bullshit, there is one kid that cant believe. They are all crying and shit, its just bad. Its just bad.
And almost 0% of Evangelicals do this shit.
Oh, I do beg to differ

You'd have to be mildly insane not to see this as a major problem.
Places like this should be shut down.
I bet that if Jesus was real he'd look down from the heavens and facepalm. I think it's wrong to raise children to be religious, I mean, you're never given a choice
Dang whats next? crucifix-wearing, Jesus screaming, suicide bombers? Also the second video makes a lot of sense.
Harry's a wizard, not a warlock... sad face.
And I was unaware that God had an army.

Jeez white people are emotional. In the church I go to sometimes it just gets down to business. prayer -> hymn -> reading the text -> hymn -> prayer -> news -> get the Hell out of there before my parents start small-talking for an hour.
Harry Potter is a fantasy book. They never even mention God at all.
The warlocks that this woman is on about, in the old testament, were God haters who used Satan to use powers.
The warlocks in Harry Potter are naturally gifted with magic powers, and they use it to help each other.
[editline]06:41PM[/editline]
I am a christian, and I believe that the teachings of the bible are good.
Forgive people
Be kind
Lead a good life.
But I've never heard of the teachings like.
Cry out to Jesus to break the devil's cups.
Don't read harry potter because it will turn you Satanic.
Decide that people who have gone to war and died protecting loved ones. were actually following God's plan, and should therefore not be mourned or respected.
This is borderline extremism...
I'm a baptist.
But this isn't the way to convert someone.
Oh god this puts my beliefs to shame.
