You know you're bulking right when you still look decent turning into a lardass
probably has to do with not eating 5000 calories per day
But I am eating 5000 calories per day
unless you want to turn into a skinnyfat lard I suggest you drop that to 4000 or something
[editline]23rd January 2011[/editline]
how the fuck do you manage to get 5000 calories anyway?
I probably can't do that without throwing up a few times
5000 cals? I know how arrogant this sounds but I've got more size than both of you and i don't need to eat that much. Its quality more than quantity, boosted by supplements too. I'd say I'm eating 3500 at the most and I'm steadily gaining lean weight. Just train hard, back off the cardio a little, eat well and you'll see the results over time.

I don't doubt that you're way bigger than me. I'm only 150lbs at 6'1 :smith:
Also us Ectomorphs tend to be hardgainers (meaning we need more calories to gain weight)
but 5000 is still hella excessive, I'm struggling to get my daily 3700 here.
To the one complaining about my excessive list: I HATE monotony, nothing makes me lose motivation faster than doing like 3 movements for a billion sets.

So you need good calories instead of a large amount of calories?

is it acceptable to post a picture of myself and ask for critique or will this be seen as cam whoring?
I want the body of a 100m sprinter. I think that's my view on perfection.

Go ahead.
Today's ab day. My GF broke up with me yesterday so i'm going to take it out on my abdominals. Love you, BB thread
y she do dis
Because i apparently deserve better. And here I thought that was my decision.
Tough luck :(
I'm doing all this to lose weigh. I know adding cardio in would be good, but I won't be going outside before the snows melt, which'll be sometime in may/june :P A little strength would be nice too, of course, that goes without saying ;)

I don't think you can have that much muscle and that little fat without steroids. It looks weird anyways. He needs a bit more fat and then he needs to stop shaving his entire body.
So you need good calories instead of a large amount of calories?
Not so much the amount of calories you're taking in. Yes it DOES play a role in weight ganing but it's more to do with giving yuor body the fuel (protein and amino acids mainly) to create new muscle when needed. You can eat 5000 calories in a day easily if you fill your diet with pasta and starchy foods but you won't see many results from it.
My diet consists of normally 2 eggs, scrambled or soft boiled for breakfast with 2 peices of toast. Lunch is normally something like a good sized portion fish, chicken or beef with veg, pasta or new potatoes and dinner is whatever I'm served, normally something reasonably healthy. I'll have some whey protein (about 25g) before I hit the gym in the afternoon at lunch and then again before I hit the gym in the evening after work, so that's about an extra 50g of protein in the diet. Calories probably total upto around 3000, sometimes more some times less but I'm still seeing results.

He could have easily just bulked a fuckton and then cut to around 6% or whatever BF he is and that is actually very possible.
What I'm doubting is how he did that in just 2 years.
Must be a bitch to keep that amount of muscle with that amount of fat though.
If he's a real short guy I think he could have done it in two years. What's his ht/wt?
Height:
5' 10" (1 m 78 cm)
Weight:
170 lb (77.3 kg)
here's his bodyspace too: http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/Josef_Rakich/
170lbs and an upperbody like that?
lolnolegs
yeah that's what I was thinking too
also just did my back/bis a few hours ago
you know your workout was successful if you can't flex your lats
170lbs and an upperbody like that?

Can not stand people that don't work legs, I don't know why it just annoys me :|
What sort of music do you guys rock out to when working out?
My playlist consists of a combination of Death Metal, Techno and Beatles.
Can not stand people that don't work legs, I don't know why it just annoys me :|
Not as awful as people that work out for atleast a year, NEVER work legs, curl/bench everyday and then you see them occupying the squat rack for atleast 45 minutes doing curls and military presses or doing skull crushes on the benchpress. It's fucking ridiculous.
Whoever does olympian barbell curls in the fucking squatrack should be shot at sight.
hey, i said i'd post earlier so here i am, taken today
