What's the easiest way to find a realistic BMI/BF%? I've never taken the time because my natural bodyfat is -1%
Consult an expert (some sort of doctor, probably a dietician)
Whatever you say, captain. Worked for me and I thought maybe it could for someone else so I decided to try and help. Didn't know I'd get bitched at and insulted for it. It's not just doing a diet, dude, it's more than that, I've changed my life completely and intend to stay this way. Results =/= Invalid especially when they're noticeable and not even finished turning up yet. Yes I do use a ShakeWeight. I use it correctly for extended periods of time and get proper nutrition. It's great and an integral part of my workout. Of course, alone it won't be as effective, and then it's laughable. I can feel the thing working my muscles and you can even watch the muscle contractions in the advertisements happening. It's cheap and it's fun. I love my ShakeWeight!
no one's bitching or insulting, don't get so offended I already said good job on the progress what more do you want? I was just correcting what you said that was wrong, lots of people lurk this thread and if they read what you say and really believe it what would happen? I don't want that, kids thinking they can change their metabolism and that creatine is as bad as steroids lol how can you seriously use a shakeweight everybody please watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MG0CVLBriY
how do i get sexy without doing anything
how do i get sexy without doing anything
Have someone ugly next to you?
but in all seriouness, it's just another product marketed at people who don't have time, there is no way you can get a good workout in just six minutes unless you're doing a 6 minute nonstop set of squats lol it's aimed towards women and lazy people, now clearly you are neither of those since you lost a lot of weight, why not do a real exercise? [editline]28th January 2011[/editline]
how do i get sexy without doing anything
shakeweight ..... trollface.jpg [editline]28th January 2011[/editline]
how do i get sexy without doing anything
but I'm going to answer this as a serious question, an easy way to get sexier is to eat less if you're overweight you're not doing anything more than usual when you're eating less so

Sexual liberation isn't something to be afraid of. I do real exercises, dude. I already told you I did. The ShakeWeight is a fun thing I've added to my exercises because it's fun. I don't do it ALONE on one day, and the workout part of it actually is more than six minutes a day combined with proper nutrition and many other exercises. Variation is a big part of my success, and I'm sure it's part of yours, too. Like all televised 'miracle fitness gear,' it's targeted at fat idiots with money. I bought it because when used correctly, it works. You saying the ShakeWeight produces no results when used right is identical to how I was telling you steroids are all wrong and creatine is cheating. It's incorrect.
i haven't been in this thread before but why are you talking about sexual liberation, its practice for jerkin off a big cock what more do u need??
My workout partner wants to switch gyms so he can play sqaush with friends, but the heaviest dumbells they have there weigh like 66. I really prefer my incline bench with dumbells, but is it just as good with a bar, if I really wanted to please him?
am i the only one who just eat regular food not protein gainers, powders and asdf i don't even know the names
Nope, I do the same.

Everything they sell on T.V, works to an extent, that's the point of those things. Movement itself, is something that burns calories which I recall was your goal. So, your idea was not wrong. If that thing works for you, that's good. There are better ways, but if that's what makes you feel good, then keep at it. You are your own judge. Also, VQ, how can it not be possible to shift your metabolism? If we weren't able to change it, we'd die. If I were to eat 60 meals a day, and suddenly fall to starvation due to a diesease, will my body burn the same amount of calories as usual? That does not make sense. Your body is the most adaptive thing you'll encounter, and as a diabetic person I'm the living proof of it. I can see the shifts everyday, everysecond. Shifting metabolism is a fact. Read the ebook, burn the fat, feed the muscle. 300 pages of good.
Stupid Americans trolling the whole world with their non-metric measurements. If you use an unit such as pounds, at least say the unit you're using.
Yeah, using pounds make you sound much stronger than you are :P
i haven't been in this thread before but why are you talking about sexual liberation, its practice for jerkin off a big cock what more do u need??
Proper nutrition, tough exercising but mainly DISCIPLINE. No discipline = no results/quit the gym and cry every night in a fetal pose underneath a cold shower. Just take a look on the web, do some research, look for exercises, study them so you can maintain 'perfect'-form in your work out and start lifting that heavy ass weight!
i think it's time for me to buy a proper bar instead of using these dumbbells THEY ARE SO DUMB LOLOL

You can change it a bit but you cannot just change types (which is what he said you could do). I know your body adjusts to changes but you can`t just go from being skinnyfat to being an easygainer just because you change how you eat. I couldn't imagine having only dumbbells that weigh less than 66 pounds (you mean pounds right) [editline]28th January 2011[/editline]
am i the only one who just eat regular food not protein gainers, powders and asdf i don't even know the names
no but do you get as much protein as you need in a day? most likely not

[editline]28th January 2011[/editline] On that then I agree with you. Also, just wondering VQ how do you determine how much protein you need? how much you intake anyways? Because it seems you just told the guy it's impossible to gain weight without it.

Not at all. It's true, most people don't eat enough of it. You can count it out very easily, I believe I even posted some basic formulas to count them out and checked them out with some nutrition apps aswell. [editline]...[/editline] For bodyweight in kilograms it's 2.5g per kilo. I did some converting and 1.5grams per lb seems a bit too much.

Just eat 1.5grams per bodyweight. Also, bleach; no, just no bro.
So if I'm around 70kg it's 175g of protein per day for me? How in the fucking hell am I supposed to get that without using supps and shit. [editline]28th January 2011[/editline] this will fucking KILL my wallet whenever I'm gonna start my cut because protein is even more important while cutting if you don't want your muscle to disintegrate.
So if I'm around 70kg it's 175g of protein per day for me? Why people think mathematics, for some reason, fit in a complex machine such as the human body? I know how you guys feel, the need to consume that much protein. No, just no. I gained a lot using this method, but there's no need for it. by your standards and formulas, it's basically almost impossible to stuff that much into your body, so basically you're using steroids, just not hormonal. You cannot sustain that way of life naturally, so you push industrial products to sustain it. Sounds like steroids to me. You need to pull the brakes, and rethink what you're doing besides your mathematical box. Consuming those products are fine, but there's not need to. Just read Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle. It cleared it up for me. I'll PM if nessecary.
Hmm *counts* I get 74 (ground beef)+18 (bacon)+14 (eggs)+30 (milk)= 136 grams of protein daily plus whatever there is in bananas and carrots :P so That'd only be like 40 grams of protein more to reach 175 grams, which can easily be achieved by eating some nuts or something.

It's a cheap and easy source of 100% Biologic value proteins, which you won't really find in any meat, unless you eat human flesh.

Cheap as fuck whey isolates mixed with water?
