Protein's good for you if you work out. You'll only get stretch marks if you bulk up and gain mass fast.
I was thinking of taking it after work outs just after I train, getting some optimum nutrition or something. My gym sells maxi muscle but I'm not sure about that stuff...
I just got a new haircut.
This is relevant because I look like fucking Zyzz now.
Next up is getting his body too.
Gotta start from somewhere, eh :P?
A question about taking back pictures:
Do people flex their upper-back when they take shouler/bicep pictures from behind?
If they do, then how the hell do they do it? I've been trying to figure out for quite a while already because my upper back always looks like shit.

Do you guys do military press in front of your head or behind?
they did a study and doing front and back has no difference in muscle activation so it really doesn`t matter

lol how can you even possibly relate protein shakes to stretch marks
this is like relating listening to loud music and going blind

srs if you have visible abs already, just try to eat just a LITTLE bit less so you can only shed fat and minimal muscle, if you aren`t amazingly developed you might just look really skinny at 5%
so if you`re just gonna eat a bit less, probably start in late february? bishes at disney, come at me :c00l:

I posted pics brah. Judge for yourself.
I don't have a bar or weights, but I have a Bowflex. I want to get into the habit of using it. I've been using it about 30 minutes a day for a week now. My problem is, I don't really know what exercises to do, to really work everything. It can bench, but it can't deadlift or squat. My dad lost the handbook a long time ago. Youtube has been unhelpful because the only instructional vids I saw, were for a different kind of Bowflex
I'm pretty new to this because I'm a cardio guy at heart (high school swim team)

I swam competitively but I like working out way more lol. Which bowflex do you have? post a pic

That. I could use some tips. Do you think 30 minutes is a decent amount of time or do I need to go for an hour? I think I'm going to start using protein shakes. I don't really want to bulk up too much. I'm just a little too skinny and it would be nice to look a little better with my shirt off. I lifeguard 40 hours a week every summer
Nice man. I lifeguard too during university, but I do construction/landscaping in the summer for about 70 hours a week, lol.
Anyways, you should probably do 45 min to an hour per day. You could do 3-4 times a week. Day 1: chest tris shoulders, day 2: back bis legs abs, repeat (so many things on one day only because I can see a lot of things that you should do but are not able because of the lack of weights)
For back do lat pulldowns, for bis do curls, for legs do leg curls and for abs you can do weighted front crunches or whatever they're called
For chest do chest flys, for tris do triceps extensions and shoulders do shoulder flys/crossovers
I'm sure you can do more, I am just not fully understanding the picture you posted...do you have something on the bottom that you can pull up or is it just from the top down?

I'll just leave this here.

my favourite ones are the one where he puts the roller through the steps and slaps it with the other foam thing, and then punches his own hand haha

45 minutes is reasonable. My problem is, I don't know how to use it to work those particular areas. the bottom thing is just for working your legs. The bottom cables hook up to the power-rods and the leg bar on the end.
I really need to find a handbook for this particular bowflex
[editline]30th January 2011[/editline]
also, is it bad to do it every day? Like 3-4 times a week is cool, but I'd have no problem doing this everyday, as long as I'm home

Depends on how hard you're working out. If you're having a really good heavy workout, then more than 5 times a week is unnecessary. try monday through friday with saturday and sunday as rest days, or mon tues workout then wednesday rest, then thurs fri saturday workout and sunday rest
something like that
oh and for lat pull downs, use the big bar at the top and pull it down, etc.
look up all the exercises I said, then find a way to do them on the machine, because I am trying but it's really hard to explain what I am talking about without it being too long or confusing lol
You could probably just google the manual tbh.
Also bis and tris today, was so good.
I think tomorrow I'm going to torture myself by running for hours strait. My lungs are poop.

Every dumbbell exercise in existence
I have 2 15-pound dumbells. What can I do?
Tape them together and do flies, reverse flies, lateral raises, curls etc.
Just made myself a incline bench using a 2x8 plank and my couch.
Incline exercises here I come :buddy:
also finally preacher curls instead of concentration.
Can I drink Mass Gainers and not exercise and still gain mass hmmm
Mass, yeah. Muscle, not really.
Can I drink Mass Gainers and not exercise and still gain mass hmmm
Yea you should drink the whole bottle then just sit on your ass.
You'll gain mass. [sp] But probably not muscle[/sp]

Add reverse preacher curls too for forearms.

Get resistance bands to increase the difficulty.
did leg raises for sets with fifty pounds between my legs.
Can't wait to get back into my routine after a week off the gym. It made me really restless to not get out that energy everyday.
Gonna hit it harder than ever.
Yeah man, gotta love that feeling when you go to the gym after not being there for awhile.
did leg raises for sets with fifty pounds between my legs.
I can't even get 5 lbs there and you do it with 50?
the fuck
