Yeah man, gotta love that feeling when you go to the gym after not being there for awhile.
Feels like your body has worked out better too
I can't even get 5 lbs there and you do it with 50?
the fuck
are you talking about with laying leg raises or captain´s chair leg raises?
[editline]30th January 2011[/editline]
Feels like your body has worked out better too
Exactly, and the next day you can't even move. Feels good, man
So on my Back/Biceps day I'm doin
Standing DB Curls
BB Curls
Lat Pull Downs
Seated Rows
Shrugs
and I did have Pull-ups but I'm too heavy/weak to do more than 2
although I feel like I hardly do anything. What are some other back/bi exercises I can add?
What are some other back/bi exercises I can add?
Preacher curls
Reverse bb curls
Reverse preacher curls
I love reverse variation :p
are you talking about with laying leg raises or captain´s chair leg raises?
The former.
There is a slight, dullish pain in my left elbow when I do normal curls (palms upward). The pain is approzimately inbetween the two ends of the bone and slightly to the left. It doesn't stop me from doing curls but it's slightly annoying and I want it gone. There is no pain doing hammercurls or any other such moves, only when the palm is upward. The dull pain slightly increases the higher the weigh comes and is especially noticable in static arm curls when holding the arm static in 90 degree angle.
What gives?
The former.
Don't have a captains chair at my gym, it sucks stuck with ye olde standard leg raises :(
Exactly, and the next day you can't even move. Feels good, man
My arms hurt. Feels good, man
Just did my leg day and did lunges for the first time.
Almost collapsed on second set.
lol
[editline]31st January 2011[/editline]
fucking toothpicks
The former.
Ah well the 50 was on the captain's chair. I only do about 35-40 on laying.

I'm not entirely sure but it sounds like it could either be joint problems or just tight forearms. If it's the former you should see a doctor, otherwise try doing some forearms stretches more frequently and especially before work outs.
Well, I can try stretching my forearm more but I doubt it's that since it's quite stretchy already.
I can't wait until the weather gets better.
I've never been very good with running (My knees get sore. I've gone to the Dr. and gotten an X-ray and had him check them out, and he can't feel or see anything, so who knows, maybe i just have weak girl knees) but i used to love riding a bike everywhere. And i used to swim a lot. I need to get those things back, so i can get into way better shape. I'm not in terrible shape (I'm still at 208, which isn't bad for the past week considering i didn't gain weight, though i would have liked to have dropped a pound).
So, once it's warmer, i've made the decision to get myself a bike and start riding to the gym (Mobile warm up!) and start swimming 5 days a week.
Goddamn snow storm that's about to nail us (Winter mix today, snow showers all day tomorrow, then more snow Wed. They're calling for 15-20 inches) is fucking up all my plans.
New maxes!:
Bench press: 175 pounds (From 155 pounds last month)
Squat: 245 pounds (From 225 pounds)
Dead lift: 345 pounds (From 315 pounds)
I'm proud of myself. I'm getting close to my goal of a 365 pound dead lift by the end of the school year, and I'm only 20 pounds off and the semester is only just ending.
I go to the gym about four days a week, but it's more for sports training rather than just sheer lifting...anyway, here are my maxes.
Squat - 185 lb
Deadlift - 200 lb
Bench press - 145 lb
Clean jerk - 110 lb
Calf raise - 250 lb
Leg press - 350 lb

As requested, just threw on 135 since it's not even shoulder day. I always look like I have lordosis when doing military press :l

[editline]1st February 2011[/editline]
Oh yeah and the reason I moved is because I ended up holding it there so long before pressing up that I couldn't, because my friend taking the picture was retarded. I had to rest before picking it up again
omg snow day tomorrow and its a lifting day
im stoked as fuckfffffc
I have a snow day tomorrow too. Where are you from kung fu?
It's a lifting day tomorrow for me to but I'm out of luck since I can't get to my school. That's why I did back/chest/tris today since I knew tomorrow I'd have an extra recovery day.

I literally do curls in the squat rack, because when I workout at my school's gym there are literally more squat racks than there are people in the gym.

dayum son you got good definition
you have potential if you bulk correctly (probably pretty easy for you since you look like you have one of those bodytypes)
damn 140? I can't wait to cut down. I'm at like 169lbs now at 6'0
Yeah, I've got really good symmetry. I have trouble gaining mass though, even if I dirty bulk.. I still can't really gain anything, it's retarded.
[editline]1st February 2011[/editline]
and yeah.. 140, it sucks. I wanna be like a solid 180 before I get into professional wrestling.
bro I wish my abs were shaped like yours.
I'm actually really lucky with how my muscles look.. My abs are basically all even and straight across, I love it.
