what`s wrong dude?
just flex your lats and look in the mirror and it will feel all better
how much do you weigh btw?
Ectomorph at
5'7 and ~60 Kg
Everything is wrong here. Amores Perros ! I guess I will be better soon.
Anyways can't wait tell spring break por la playa. Next year I'm probably going to have a more organized diet, along with purchasing things in bulk. This year has just been what ever, been sloppy missing meals some time, not spreading out calorie intake, not eating enough etc.
But so far I've gotten a lot more definition and strength and all that, just not the weight gains I really wanted. There is still time though.
When it comes to diet, I can't do it.. I just eat whatever, whenever I'm hungry.. I don't have set meals. I really want to have a set diet though, then I can really start getting big.
If you only eat when you're hungry that's why you're not gaining shit

Welp, criticism please. This is like 2 and a half months or something of lifting. Before this I really had nothing. I was sticks and flat belly pretty much. And I still am thin.
How're you supposed to eat when you're not hungry.. I don't wanna force food down my throat and puke it up because I wasn't hungry :\

Speaking of food.. I'm going to grab a handful of nuts right now, some good protein.
My results after a quick ketogenic cut

Surprisingly better than I thought. I'm such a skinny bastard though.
Our abs are like identical in shape and where they are placed, sweet.
My abs are hiding cause im bulking :/ will be like that for a long time I think, gotta put on a fair bit of mass before i do a cut.

It takes a while to get real buff all natty. Especially if your genetics aren't really up to it, it can take years to get real big. Other then that, you should try taking a picture of the front instead if you want criticism. You can appear much bigger by standing like that because of the shades etc..
Lighting does indeed play a big part when taking photos, even I could appear halfway good looking by twisting my body and being under a light just so that it higlights all the bumps and dents :P
Hey macho men, I hate to have a self bump on a thread, but I'm having a Fitness February on Facepunch.
please join and help spread the word. I also need revision on the "eat well" part of my post, so if you could add something or change something, please post it. All criticism is good criticism.

Yea I tried to get arm and abs in same picture. And that is like the only place to get a picture. I'll try to get a frontal shot later or somethin
Since everybody is posting shirtless pics, I figured I'd do so aswell. Been a member of my gym for like 2 and a half months now. I'm sure I could've done better, but seeing as I work at McDonalds, thus get free food, and have a real fondness of alcohol and cigarettes, progress is obviously going to be aweful.

Wish I was as skinny as you guys. I'm like Snorlax in comparison.
The only guy in this thread that's snorlax is me ;)
Looks good for 2,5 months only.
Dude, I'm like a snorlax compared to snorlax.
As gay as it may seem, this is one of the videos I use for motivation and inspiration. Theese guys are just beautifully ripped.

I will never understand men who shave themselves.
Nor do I understand using oils or tanning lotions (normal sun tan is alright).
EDIT: or tattoos and piercings for that matter.
Or smoking and drinking alcohol.
...
God I'm boring :P
Part of competetive swimming was getting rid of every single hair on your entire body. Gods, we had some long shaving sessions in the showers.

No point in having some aesthetic muscles if they're covered under hair...
And most importantly, girls don't like it.

Thats a moot point IMO, sire.

You can trim it, but shaving makes you look like a kid.
Need motivation to do biceps, really cant be arsed. Need to get my shoulders bigger for topleess summer, what would you guys suggest i do? Also new record of 17 pull ups in a row!
But he doesn't even use gym equiptment.
To me gym is a holistic term consisting bodyweight (weight lifting) exercises, acrobatics and gymnastic skills. Not just about lifting weights. It's about how good is your bodyweight to power ratio and to master your own body maneuvers efficiently.
Try to do some of the feats (try handstand push ups) in tutorial, they require tremendous amount of coordination and are usually compound in nature.
Anyway, I agree on the differences in opinion.
Also new record of 17 pull ups in a row!
Thats awesome ! I can do like max 15.
I can do like 12 because I accidentally neglected my lats a bit when gaining all of this weight. when I was 145 my record was like 18 I think
After working out 4 days in a row, I figured I needed a rest day. Still, would it be counter-productive to do heaps of cardio and no weights?
I am 5'10.5, ~148 pounds. My swim team swims ~300-400 yards for the moment every day.
I have a huge problem when it comes to my arm strength. Mid-way through, my arms are just giving way to the water, it's just making it harder for me to push through it.
Are there any form of exercise that gets my arm strength up? I've been eating properly (2-3 meals with tons of fruit at the sides) and been doing ~100 curls for each of my arms in 5-8 minutes , with only 15-pound weights. I've also been trying to do 50 pushups in a row afterwards.
Anything more?
