Ouch. Okay well I guess I'll keep on truckin with what I'm doing and keep being poor from spending all my money on food :v: I'll pick up some supplements to help me out though.
What kind of music you guys listen to when you want to get motivated while working out?

I need an awesome weightlifting soundtrack. What song's should I get? I already am adding: The Final Countdown Harder Better Faster Stronger Rocky Theme Obviously, 3 songs doesn't make for a good playlist.
any Pantera should work fine :v: [editline]9th February 2011[/editline]
I'm stuck at 80kgs (about 180lbs I think). I've upped my diet. I eat scrambled eggs (2 eggs) in the morning. 2 pieces of chicken at 10:30, protein shake before gym at 12pm, usually a fish dinner for lunch (1 piece of fish with potatoes and veg) or a healthier beef lasagne, 2 more pieces of chicken at about 3:30-4pm, another shake before gym at 5:30pm and then dinner which is normally a good meal. That's my usual diet, I don't count calories but there's got to be 3000+ in there. I'm hovvering between 78-80kgs at the moment, haven't really moved for nearly a month now despite lifting more and eating more. What the hell is going on here?! I've still got a couple of months to put on some good mass before I trim for the summer, any suggestions in some better foods? I don't have a problem adding to defenition but can't seem to put any size on at the minute. Since then I've been gaining at a steady rate, just seems to have stopped for now though. I've cut back on cardio too.
that`s not even 3000 calories lol that`s the problem, you need to count them at least once or just eat a fuckton more to gain weight you`re eating low carbs low calories high protein cutting shit pretty much just eat more, more often lol [editline]9th February 2011[/editline]
I started strength training the other week in the interest of putting on weight before the summer (my goal is to put on as much weight as possible by the 28th June) but, knowing my ridiculously fast metabolism, this might prove difficult. A week ago I was hovering at a measly 9 stone (57kg) but, having changed my diet to include a lot more protein and just generally a shit load more food, I've put on enough to hover between 9.3-.5 (60.3kg max). Right now I'm doing a full body workout for an hour a day, usually 5 times a week, that an instructor at the gym put me on. It's mostly pin-loaded machines, 8-10 reps for four sets with a 30-60 second rest in between each set. I'm doing 60kg leg-press, 35kg chest press, 35kg lat pull down, 20kg shoulder press, some abs workout stuff (sit-ups with weight), 15kg bicep curls (as in 15 spread between my two arms), and a 30kg tricep thing but I can't remember what the exercise is called. Any tips on what I can do to continue progress and/or improve my workout? I'm gonna get some protein shake shit shortly, partly because it's a bit of a chore to counteract my incredibly fast metabolism by eating so much I feel ill almost constantly but I really just need all the help I can get.
how can you do a fullbody workout 5 times a week, do your muscles get enough rest? How does a short 15 year old get muscly quick? How many times should i rep what weight and how often? I'm often pushed around like the weak pussy I am. I need some strength. Help?
to put on muscle you need 8-12 reps for sets of 3 (just general) but if you want to get into working out and you are just starting you should work more towards strength than high reps, just imo like someone else said, try bodyweight stuff (mostly chinups/pullups/dips) to get some strength and size then progress onto weights
how can you do a fullbody workout 5 times a week, do your muscles get enough rest?
Yeh. Hurts I guess. It's 4 times a week usually though.
wat If your squat is somehow higher than your DL you're probably doing knee-bends instead of correct squats.
Well I know I'm doing correct squat form, thighs down to parallel and everything, but I'm only assuming I'm doing correct DL form. I thought maybe it was because I'm tall and have long legs but that should affect both lifts so that doesn't explain it. Maybe it's because I've never really done DLs on a regular basis and I always do them after squats. Idk [editline]lol[/editline] or maybe my lower back sucks
I just purchased Vince Delmonte's No Nonsense Muscle Building Ebook, for its diet plans only, it also has a lot of good information in it for hard gainers. If any of you don't know what this is, I suggest you google it. I'm giving away the Ebook through PM. I already have it uploaded to a download link. Just PM Me if you want it. VQ35HR, Post this message in the OP so more people know about it?
My left tricep has been hurting for weeks, injury sort of pain. Lifting any weight with my left arm causes me a lot of pain, it is a bitch when I'm doing back, shoulders or biceps. What the hell? When I do triceps, the pain is 10x times stronger. What's wrong??!?
Let it rest for a week or two, if it still hurts go to a doctor.
Would you believe I thought it was normal? And that everyone felt it. Resting it for 4 days, didn't removed the pain. :saddowns:

What's the proper way to cut body fat? You reduce weight and add more reps right? More cardio and less calories?

If you use more energy than you take in, you will loose fat. Eat less, do more cardio
What's the proper way to cut body fat? You reduce weight and add more reps right? More cardio and less calories?
reducing weight and adding reps won`t do anything for fat cutting lol
I'm constantly full too. But I just eat more. I'm the ectoest motherfucker you'll meet in this thread.
I dunno how true that is. You may currently be the most skinny but keep in mind I'm having trouble gaining on 5-6k calories a day. Also weighed in at 169.5 today  [editline]10th February 2011[/editline] Oh yeah and doing 8x3 with 130lbs on military press
reducing weight and adding reps won`t do anything for fat cutting lol
more tips please
Fuck yeah 158!
Just how good are pushups for bulking up arms/chest?
Also, doing them after squats will make it way harder Focus on each equally
So would you suggest do DL and squats on different days of the week or should I just do squats then DL and then the next week switch them, alternating each week?
Guys how do I lose my love handles? Obliques exercises or Low BF%? or both?
more tips please
Eat low carbs, lot fats and high protein lots of water work out hard do high intensity cardio once or a couple times a week but don`t overdo it the slower you the cut, the less muscle you will lose in the long run [editline]10th February 2011[/editline]
Just how good are pushups for bulking up arms/chest?
Personally, I use them as a burnout after a chest workout, pushups really aren`t as good for muscle as weighted chest exercises [editline]10th February 2011[/editline]
So would you suggest do DL and squats on different days of the week or should I just do squats then DL and then the next week switch them, alternating each week?
Probably different days, but if you HAVE to do it on the same day, alternate like you said [editline]10th February 2011[/editline]
Guys how do I lose my love handles? Obliques exercises or Low BF%? or both?
mostly low body fat, but the oblique exercises will help
