or use a condom
It's called conDOMs dude!
Binsky how long are you usually sore after chest day? I'd like to be pretty sure I'm not OTing but I usually have a dull soreness in the chest for about 4-5 days after chest day.
for me it depends all the time, sometimes 2 days, sometimes 5
which is why I love the 5day split
Who needs lube when you have a chode?
wat
4-5 days??? I'm sore for about 2-3 days...

At least 3 days.
[QUOTE=
20-30, your body will respond to it the same as it does when you walk 20-30 steps from your computer to the fridge

stupid? how is anything above 15 stupid O.o? I find using light weights sometimes exercises the muscle better then heavy.
I'll pay more attention to it this week, maybe it's only two-three days. I;m on day one after the workout right now and it's not an intense soreness or anything.
wat
Exactly.
got done working out for a hour or so had to take a nap when I got home slept for about 12 hours
oops
4-5 days??? I'm sore for about 2-3 days...
another thing is, how do you know if you are ovetraining? all those symptoms pretty much describe a uni student
and the muscle pain is hard to distinguish from just working out or overtraining
I read that overtraining is actually very very hard to do and much less people do it than they think
enjoy your mad sleep gains brah
stupid? how is anything above 15 stupid O.o? I find using light weights sometimes exercises the muscle better then heavy.
Depends on what you're trying to do. If you want to get bigger then it's stupid. If you're trying to be Lance Armstrong then go ride a bike.
I'm starting to actually hope this guy is a troll
seems you were right about DOMs being a sign of over training, but you have to tell the difference lol.
But what you call a troll is someone trying to help you :)
did u watch the video by the way?
But what you call a troll is someone trying to help you :)
lol binsky or vq or even me could probably eat you.
Mainly binsky or vq though.
stupid? how is anything above 15 stupid O.o? I find using light weights sometimes exercises the muscle better then heavy.
This is why you are 130 pounds
light weights=no struggling for your muscles, they only get tired because you`ve been doing it so long
this is like me expecting to get jacked from 30 reps of jumping jacks
lol binsky or vq or even me could probably eat you.

you guys are older then me so yeah you probably could lol. But i know alot about working out so i just try to help people. Im not trying to start an argument of anything O.o
got done working out for a hour or so had to take a nap when I got home slept for about 12 hours

yeah man, some days working out fucks you up pretty bad
most days the fatigue is manageable but once in a while I just pass out at home lol
me"oh yeah guys I'll meet you in an hour*
three hours later
me"oh fuck I fell asleep after working out sorry bros"
them"oh it's okay we just went to some hot girl's house"
fuark
you guys are older then me so yeah you probably could lol. But i know alot about working out so i just try to help people. Im not trying to start an argument of anything O.o
The point we are trying to make is that you do not know what you're talking about. You need to sit down and read up on this stuff. If you want i can give you links to some articles and shit that will help educate you
you guys are older then me so yeah you probably could lol. But i know alot about working out so i just try to help people. Im not trying to start an argument of anything O.o
I'm only 17 and have been lifting for about 5 months. I was your weight when I started. You're going to start an argument when you come in here and say things that don't work as well as what everyone else in here is doing. I am personally not trying to get you riled up or scare you away, but you should probably check your own knowledge before you preach to people with more experience and knowledge on this particular subject than you.

I aLREADY TOLD YOU
I`M ON MY CUT
list of things I cannot eat
-high fat foods
-very high carb foods
-high calorie foods with minimal protein
-junk food
-trolls
Weighed 162 lbs for the first time in my life today. When I started this bulk I was 152, and before I started working out (2 years ago) I was 135 lbs after a meal. I'm 6 feet tall.
This is why you are 130 pounds

When i use light weights enough and hold the position i feel the burn after enough reps. i dont stop in the middle. Usualy my muscles do struggle alot if i do enough. Plus when i say light weights i dont mean like 5 pounds or anything O.o. just like 40% lighter then normal.

We're pretty similar. What are your lift stats/estimated bodyfat percent?

dude, this is one of the friendlier threads on facepunch
we will help you out along the way to the best of our knowledge, none of us are pros, or dieticians or nutritionists but we do read quite a bit of stuff and lift a few weights here and there
just don`t come in here saying false information and claiming that it is true, if you believe something works for you, then sure, but universally there are certain rules that are accepted and you pretty much broscienced half of them

That many reps is still too much.
