Hope you have a rack for it LOL
My gym only has smiths, this means I've never properly benched nor have I ever properly squatted FML :(
brb going to go learn proper squat form with a broom handle, so I don't look like a complete tit when I go to uni
[QUOTE=VQ35HR;28107808]dayum, 145 1rm lol, that was actually like the same as mine in the beginning of the year (wtf)
at least I`m seeing major progress lol
brb putting on a plate on each side for warm up
feelsgoodman.jpg, not too long ago I would do that for reps
[editline]17th February 2011[/editline]
your squat is very close to your deadlift, do you have massive legs?
[editline]17th February 2011[/editline]
mirin shoulders hard
[editline]17th February 2011[/editline]
I think there is because your test levels get affected when working out
[editline]17th February 2011[/editline]
is that actually you?
if so, mirin
stats??[/QUOTE]
Yeah, that's me. I'm a teen bodybuilder from Brazil, I'm 17 years old and my first contest will be on May. I've been training for a year and a half. My arm measurement in that photo is about 42cm. I'm 1,65m tall and I weigh 78kg.

Congrads dude! Hope you do good in your contest.
[QUOTE=Major Helper;28109615]I utilized it, didn't work out.
The problems with taking a good photo are:
1) I haven't got strong enough light sources to take photos with just one hand (shaky)
2) With flash (kindly given by Binsky) even VQ or Perfumly would look like wimps because of no shadows (flash from foward)
3) cannot adjust flash to point somwhere else
4) none of my webcameras can take unchoppy pictures
5) Haven't got a tripod or anything else to put the camera on
6) I built a contraption with two chairs to put the camera high enough, the picture was still blurry because of poor lighting and the fact I can't keep my body/arm stable if I'm flexing my arm as hard as I can
FML :([/QUOTE]
lol@would look like wimps
I would take a pic with flash but my phone doesn`t have flash :saddowns:

[QUOTE=L34rn;28111896]can you just post everything you know and explain this to me properly, from the top please?[/QUOTE]
you can`t really change your bodytype
you can get fat, or skinny, but still those traits will be there
if you are naturally tall and lanky, even if you get fat you will have an easier time cutting it off than someone who is naturally fat, and at the same time, someone who is naturally bulky even if they get skinny, will have to watch their calories much more than someone who is naturally skinny
ya dig?
You know you had a good workout when your very sore the next day and cant move.
I love that feeling.
[QUOTE=Major Helper;28109149]I wish I had been here during the DragonMan debate, I could have said that I could SIT on him and crush him :P

I agree. I like how if i bend down i feel like im gonna come tumbling down when my legs are sore! :P
I took my fruit punch NOS, did some reps about half an hour later.
Felt horribly ill, I walk into the bathroom and I simply projectile chundered everywhere!
It was horrible, like a stream of candyfloss simultaneously erupting from my nose and mouth.
I think it was a combination of not eating much today, and having 3 scoops instead of the usual 2.

I don't really follow a routine, every week the exercises I do are different.
But basicaly my Mondays are for pecs (my weak point, putting a lot of effort on them), Tuesdays for Legs, Wednesdays arms, Thursdays deltoids and Friday back and traps.
I'm natural, and I plan to be like this until the point where I can't win if I don't juice.
I have two lifting videos, one of squatting and one of deadlifting. On the squatting one it may seem that my trainer is helping, but he is really just keeping my balance (gotta work on it)
The weight I lifted is in the title and it is counting the plates + bar.

Those extra 1kg on each side of the squatting bar was just to provoke a friend of mine that squatted 180kg haha.

that's impressive man
were you naturally muscular since you started or have you seen drastic improvement?
and nice lifts, I thought you were going Super Sayian with all the grunting (jk) (semi srs)
that's some good lifts, but why the hell is your squat higher than your deadlift lol
but awesome job nonetheless dude, post progress pics and videos as much as you want in here, it is definitely appreciated
are you going into your first contest?

yeah that`s the trick with NO supplements
you have to eat enough so you are full but not too much that you feel TOO full
it`s a delicate science really
Damn Nokeri.
Did tri's and abs today. I did dips with 3 45's stapped to me for four reps. Shit was pretty cash, until i weighed myself and i was 179.6. FUCK WEIGHING 180
do work son
Hey guys i was wandering, does anyone know any good upper back exercises? I know the reverse fly but i rather find more then 1. i noticed a slight rounding in my shoulder that wasnt there before so i thought i should be working my upper back in more then one way. I work my upper back with push ups and pull ups btw

3 scoops of fucking noxplode are you off your goddamn rocker son
[editline]18th February 2011[/editline]
You're literally going to have a cardiac arrest.
[editline]18th February 2011[/editline]
Also just did shoulders today because I was lazy. seated military press w/ DB's is much harder than standing with an oly bar.
I have big legs and quads; they look like chicken legs cause I got a tan from football.

I usually do 55's now :(

I did 50's because I'd never done seated press before, did 8x3 with those and then did normal standing with 115 (Because I got pretty burnt out from seated press because my reps went reaaaaalllly slow)

wtf I do more on dumbbells but you do way more on barbell
what do
I think it's just not being used to being seated, I wasn't really giving it my all because I was focusing a ton on slow reps and form.
[QUOTE=Perfumly;28119892]I think it's just not being used to being seated, I wasn't really giving it my all because I was focusing a ton on slow reps and form.[/QUOTE]
that's what I do every time :colbert:
[QUOTE=VQ35HR;28119935]that's what I do every time :colbert:[/QUOTE]
I do too but it was like a practice run. however on standing I usually try to get it up as fast as I can with an explosive push and lower slowly.

do you use any leg movement with your barbell press?
I usually never do standing barbell press because I'm too afraid of hurting something so I just do it sitting
I'm a sitter too LOL

Usually I don't but sometimes I do a half squat sort of thing and jump it. It doesn't really make the lift easier imo, but it does help make the motion more fluid.
[editline]18th February 2011[/editline]
and it gives you a little calf workout too
Right now I'm doing a day of Curls/Bench or Flys/Tricep extensions which I do as drop sets of 8-10 reps, from about 18kgs on dumbells followed by 2 final sets of 6-8 reps with higher weight which usually push me to my utter limits after a short rest.
In between days I do 15 minutes of intense cardio, consisting of 10 body-weight squats, 10 judo pushups and 20 sprinter situps repeated in a circle until the 15 minutes is up.
Diet wise, I'm somewhat laid back on the protein direct from powder form, as I eat a lot of protein-rich foods, such as fish and eggs, but usually have a few servings of whey from powder a week whenever I feel I need to top-up.
I throw down NOS daily, 2 scoops typically before my workouts, and aside from this rarely drink anything except water and a lot of milk.
Is this an effective workout/diet scheme? I hate having off days which is why I alternate exercise and use my off-day as a more fat-trimming day. Essentially what I'd like to be doing is clean gaining up rather than bulking and cutting,
I don't think you should be using so much noxplode breh. I am concerned for your cardiovascular system
I'll cut back to 1 scoop in future, I think it's fucking with my sleeping pattern so bad too, cause I've not been able to sleep properly since I started having it (I work out in evenings).

well how many days do you rest a week?
oh and I hope you know that the extra blood flow from NO= expanded blood vessels, which over a long time= low blood pressure (think of water flowing out of a straw vs. the same amount of water through a garden hose)
I see I managed to fool two people with my cleverly cropped photos to cut out all the fat :P
Here, lemme show you what I mean:
