Also I have a weird pain in my lower right back that occurs if I flex my abs a certain way, or crane my neck down really far. It shoots down my right leg as well. I'm so confused what have I done to my body?
Been trying to workout for 2 months. Worked myself up a six pack but I can still only bench around 120 and do 50 push ups in a single burst. But yeah I'm only 13 so I'd like to think I'm doing a good job.

I get so many of those, just last week I could barely walk on my right ankle and my knee kept throbbing. Then another week I had this weird pain going from my chest through my bicep to my forearm. Shit's fucked. I think a lot of it could be pinched nerves or too much pressure on joints or something (strong brodoctor) [editline]20th February 2011[/editline]
Been trying to workout for 2 months. Also, he said bodyparts that are lagging should have 2 different days-light and heavy So I made this: Monday: Chest Tuesday: Arms (heavy) Wednesday: Rest Thursday: Back/legs Friday: Shoulders Saturday: Arms (light) thoughts? oh and the reason I have made back and legs into one day is because since I am cutting I want to focus as much as I can on my upperbody to lose the least muscle [editline]20th February 2011[/editline] oh and ebs err morning and night of workout days

Think ima try an HST cycle. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/ridgely1.htm Anyone have experience with this?
Think ima try an HST cycle. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/ridgely1.htm Anyone have experience with this?
Yep, I did HST a few months after I started working out (yes, fail, lol) so this should be taken into account But while I was on it, I made slightly better strength gains than I would just normally, and the size gains weren`t THAT great But that was just me, and it will most likely be different for you, the one thing that I know will be the same is the fact that it`s boring as shit. For the first few weeks you go easy as hell, high reps, really low weight. No fun, no motivation. But try it out, the only problem I had really was that I always thought I was wasting all these workout days with high reps low weight shit while I could be pounding out some hard reps of 8

How I injured my neck and a shoulder doing curls? Dat I don't know brah. But I'm feeling better today. Today is... REST day. I mostly spend a rest day, stretching and abdominals. Because they feel so good.
I just went hiking through these woods with my friends yesterday, I'm so sore now. The backs of my knees hurt and the bottoms of my feet hurt when I walk. What do?

I'm trying to tone my arms more for boxing and making my punch a little bit more powerful, is this a good work out? 3 sets, +5 pounds each set, start off with a 35 pound dumbells and do 12 reps (each set) of sholder-roll then 12-10-8 (1st set, 2nd set, 3rd set) bench press and go to the ground and do 12 push ups but for the final set I do push-ups till I exhaust. My old therapist suggested this. Also, whats a good workout for being able to jump (breast stroke) in the water? You would probably know Vq35hr since you did water polo, right? I'm a goalie and I just want to have a faster eggbeater and be able to go higher. I am kinda new to working out since mainly I only focused on my cardio.

I did competitive, could have played on the national team (srs) but focused on school instead. The thing is, when I played water polo I mostly did in water exercises and didn't really do that much gym stuff. I know a good way to get a faster eggbeater is to try and carry a chair for multiple pool lenghts, arms out of the water, as high as you can. But my guess for working out is that explosive leg workouts will help you quite a bit. You can try explosive squats to start. Go down really slow and go up as fast as you can (with enough weight to make it difficult). Also, your arm workout does not really have much 'arm' in it, all those things you said are either shoulder, or chest. If you want arm strength do some curls or skullcrushers. Hope this helps.
