Curls for the girls. Tomorrow Leg day!
I did my 1,5 hour bicep, back, ab workout in 45 minutes, not skipping anything, just full speed ahead. (I did reduce the 40 reps from back movements to 10 though) EDIT: I also ordered a pair of proper resistance bands, say hello to harder back excercises whenever they arrive!
I've always though that the little things next to your lats are ribs... Now I found out that they're muscles lol, and somehow I've managed to get them really visible. Can't post pics, cant find my usb wire. But here's the thing I mean [img_thumb]http://www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/gallery/muscle/serratus_anterior220.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://en.academic.ru/pictures/enwiki/83/Serratus_anterior.png[/img_thumb]
i have very prominant ones, knew they were muscles but didnt know the name or funtion
Dad sniped a few pictures of todays arm workout. I'm able to do two 45 plates aside for close grip bench, never have I lifted that heavy.. I used to struggle with two 35 plates, and I can do two 45's with ease, it feels good to be back at it, going hard. Your arms are nice, but why the gloves? I think they look so silly.
When you're lifting heavy weights, and your hands are burning like a bitch, the gloves help a lot.
I've never had my hands burning, and I lift heavy weights. Always thought it was to cut out the hard skin on the palms of your hands, just underneath your fingers, the stuff i enjoy picking at. But nice arms, looks pumped in the second pic.
i successfully did 100's on the third set for five reps (help on the last). Feels good, man

My dad isn't the best at taking pictures, so you couldn't really see my forearm where the veins were really showing.
Starting strenght?
program where you do 5 sets of 5 reps if you`re not doing that, then you should probably up the weight once you can do 3 sets of 8-10 [editline]21st February 2011[/editline]
during curls [editline]21st February 2011[/editline] going to bed btw VQ you are a hero, thanks for all the help so far!
np bro, and thanks also, try switching grips for curls, like instead of wide grip do close grip (if you`re doing it with the bar), but if you`re doing it with dumbbells, just try different forms of isolation curls, like over a bench, on your leg, or arnold`s favorite one: or using this thing just try and switch it up and see if it still hurts, for some reason during ultra close grip curls I had a crazy pain in my bicep once and I was afraid that I was fucked forever...so I just switched it up and it was fine (true story, lol) [editline]21st February 2011[/editline] also those pictures above show the importance of good form form>weight arnold's arms were over 20 inches, yet he's only doing 50's for curls [editline]21st February 2011[/editline]
Dad sniped a few pictures of todays arm workout. you said 2 45s which usually means 2 on each side, not two total
Oopsy, I guess my lingo is different than yours ahah. I wish I could do 2 45s each side. Dad said I probably won't be able to do that until I'm around 17 and a half or so.
Thanks. VQ <3 i also did pull overs with 110 lbs. It was a good day. Now i get to sit down and do hw and ice my fucked up ankle. Will post pics of it if you want ;)

Squatted 405 twice today, wasn't that bad considering I almost passed out the first time I did it a couple weeks ago. Should've went for 3.

Thank you sir :)
Tried something different yesterday. I normally been doing 5 by 5s and I guess its been going ok, but personally I get out of breath and muscle fatigued too easy so I'm going to try to work on my endurance. I did a gauntlet for 30 minutes of going from pull ups to squats to push ups to sit ups non stop, felt pretty good to mix stuff up. Will probably do high reps lower weight for the rest of this week.

An even better idea is to have high rep or low rep days instead of weeks, one day do low rep high weight, one day high rep low weight, always keep the muscles guessing
When you're lifting heavy weights, and your hands are burning like a bitch, the gloves help a lot.
Sorry, but I'm gonna have to say lose the gloves and grow a pair (And some callouses too.) Having callouses is a good thing and it will improve your grip and mental endurance if you can hold on to a heavy weight even when you want to drop it because of it burning or slipping.
I'm terribly sick, and the quality of my sleep is disgusting. Should I stop working out until I am cured? I couldn't lift the weight I used to lift, I feel... weak. I worked out with fever. :buddy:
yeah you're right you actually look quite a bit bigger than you are (which is very good)
I don't get this. I'd rather look weaker than I actually am than stronger than I actually am. Ideally I'd want to look as strong as I am but I don't think looking stronger than you actually are is really a good thing. [editline]22nd February 2011[/editline] Also didn't go to school or work out today. Shit out my intestines this morning and my leg was hurting still. Hopefully it will all be better by tomorrow

It's kind of hard to put into words, hopefully you'll get what I mean. I'd rather be focused on the real task at hand, which is lifting the weight and having good form, not letting my mind get off track and worrying about the pain/burning in my hand.
perfumbro how many reps do you do on 65kg military press?
