Yeah I guess that makes sense. I've never put the three together myself. I still don't really like shoulders with legs, though. Idk they don't really fit in anywhere. Maybe you could do chest and shoulders together and throw tri's with back bi's and 4's? [editline]22nd February 2011[/editline] Who doesn't love massages???
or chest shoulders bis tris back legs ??
i don't like putting anything with legs sinces legs constitute three huge muscle groups by themselves and a bunch of small ones. Shit's tiring yo.
Idk I've seen it done quite a bit as a way to not make chest/tris/shoulders because it's hard as fuck to do properly since by the time you finish the first 2 muscle groups the last one will have a shit workout [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] why do you have a massage fetish
Massages are amazing, especially when its a hot broad giving you one.

It's usually a decent looking woman from what I've experienced. I've just seen the fat old whales in movies haha.
It's usually a decent looking woman from what I've experienced. I've just seen the fat old whales in movies haha.
the exact opposite for me, lol
Chest day today! :D Going for 75's/34kg's on the incline db press, wish me luck. I think the op should still contain the info on deads, squats and bench.

Help me i'm about to eat two blueberry muffins [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] too late
Man, I'm down with a cold today, there's supposed to be snow today and tomorrow so school might be canceled, and I can't go to the school's gym on Friday normally, so it looks like I'm taking a super long break. I already had to take 7 days off because of midwinter break and the fact that I skipped a day, so this would make nearly 2 full weeks. I'm probably going to lose all the progress I made so far. :smith: [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] Apparently, taking 1-2 weeks off periodically from working out is supposed to be good for you, so I don't know. I'm going to talk to my dad about this, he knows about this stuff.
Brother brother brother, don't you know? Train at home. Find a branch in your garden or a beam inside the house and do pull ups. Want to train biceps? Get a towel and let one of your family members pull the on other side as resistance; pull ups are good for biceps too. Train forearms? Get a string, a stick and a bucket; attach string to stick and bucket, fill bucket with rocks or water and wind the string on the stick while stretching your arms. Want to train triceps? Grab a bag, fill it with rocks and do extensions; or do raises and you'll train your shoulders as well. Do some handstands, push ups, bridges, one legged squats, leg raises, etc.. Just basically all you can think of. If you have a big axe or a sledge hammer at home, fill bag with sand and you've got a workout! TIP: Don't use the slicing edge of the axe but use the blunt part, or use it on a log and you have some fire wood. I usually do this during vacations; you'll see that your environment can be your gym, just be creative brah! (it might not be the best tiring training you'll ever have, but it beats sitting at home doing nothing.)

I was just pointing out that in almost any environment without the proper equipment one can train the body.
I'm too heavy for bodyweight exercises. I only just recently was able to do pushups without my knees on the ground, and even then, I don't think I'm going down all the way. :v:
holy shit how much do you weigh?
345 pounds. 360 when I first started. Yeah, I'm really big.
Mon dieu. Well, just keep going I guess.
345 pounds. 360 when I first started. Yeah, I'm really big.
holy god you squat a shit-ton just by standing up.
Wooo, had some really good progress with my back What's your option on smith squats? I'm going to try to use it to get rid of my squat phobia.
holy god you squat a shit-ton just by standing up.
And I squat 245 on top of that. :smug:
hey maucer, wow have a medal [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] no sarc
does anyone here do planks? I do them on sundays and add five seconds every week. This past sun i did it for 4:30 and i wanted to die during the entire thing except for the last 10 seconds and then i felt like i could do it for a little longer. How long can you guys do them for?
I usually do 2 minutes with 10kg on the butt. Just started working out regularly with my uncle, after a good week and a half's break. Tried something different today and did low rep, high weight, and it feels good man.

It's a good introduction but you need to do them with the mentality that you're going to move to normal squats
And I squat 245 on top of that. :smug:
At least you have strong legs then :)
And I squat 245 on top of that. :smug:
Oh man, your legs are weapons of mass destruction. Don't worry the US will probably never find you if you go hide in a cave.
Nice, I started doing squats on a smith. i'm going to do planks after looking up what they were after hearing about them in this thread, also the 8 minute abs thing on youtube, lol it's kinda cheesy but damn, it feels like it really works also, i have a little question. my forearms seem gigantic compared to my biceps, i used to do a lot of trials biking so that's how i have them, but it feels like when i'm doing curls it's my forearms that are doing most of the work, am i imagining this? i'm still going to be doing trials for the great cardio, is this an issue?

That really helps. I've fallen so many times during squats but power cages make that safe. I don't see how your forearms would be doing most of the work unless your somehow curling your wrist while you curling or something strange. Also, i see no reason any issue of doing trails. Cardio is good, however, if you do it too much then it can hinder weight gain if you're trying to bulk.
At least you have strong legs then :)
Well, they can't help but be strong, look at what they have to carry. :v:
