Sorry I misread. I love Danny Macaskill! He's bad ass. You should post some vids of your shit on hurr. Wud be cool. You have to say weightlifting phrases though if you do. I feel like that should be a rule for any vid posted on here Also, I just do penis curls

All this weighlifting lingo like fuark and miring make me cringe.

I already had to take 7 days off because of midwinter break and the fact that I skipped a day, so this would make nearly 2 full weeks. I'm probably going to lose all the progress I made so far. :smith: [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] Apparently, taking 1-2 weeks off periodically from working out is supposed to be good for you, so I don't know. I'm going to talk to my dad about this, he knows about this stuff.
yeah taking 1 or 2 weeks off every year or even twice a year is good, you don`t have to take a full break though, you can just deload (low weights) but taking a full break is good too, don`t worry you won`t lose your progress

I'm so hipster my gym uses pounds instead of the imperial units.
I'm so hipster my gym uses pounds instead of the imperial units.
pounds are imperial units
fuck i meant metric
BB thread: inaccurate mathematic statements since ~2010 yo
Some of the stuff in my Gym uses the imperial system, it's confusing as fuck.
Sunday - Legs/Shoulders Monday - Back/Biceps Tuesday - Chest/Triceps Wednesday - Legs/Shoulders Thursday - Back/Biceps Friday - Chest/Triceps Saturday - Full rest
So, looks like my weight lifting and improved eating are actually paying off. I got on the scale at the gym last night and it said i was at 200 even. (Which was odd since i was 203 last week). I figured it was probably fucked up, so i went and grabbed the 20 pound kettlebell i had been working out with, and it read 220. Woo. Now to get down to 175, lost this baby-gut i've got going, and start getting more in shape. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO THROW A BASEBALL INTO FUCKING SPACE.
Woohoo gained another pound.
I haven't lost any weight in ages, but I can see I'm losing fat and gaining muscle, so it's all good.
Wow, I hate Hex bar Squats. :\
Sunday - Legs/Shoulders Monday - Back/Biceps Tuesday - Chest/Triceps Wednesday - Legs/Shoulders Thursday - Back/Biceps Friday - Chest/Triceps Saturday - Full rest
would not recommend working legs twice a week especially that close together. Legs take the longest to heal up
Right I have a routine every night: 250 crunches 100 sit ups 100 leg raises 50 reps of 45lb on each arm 75 press ups Is this a good routine?
How long does chest heals up? :smith:
Whoa there cowboy TtIiVv! You should limit on the reps and add weigh, do that many and it starts bordering on pretty useless for anything but upkeep as far as I know.
So, should I get about 30 reps of 60lb?
would not recommend working legs twice a week especially that close together. Legs take the longest to heal up
I work chest/shoulder/triceps every other day, and then biceps/back the rest. Do I need more rest?

TtIiVv, you should aim for the max 10 rep range if you wish to get stronger, 20 and more reps and it starts to become maintaining/endurance excercise.
