Well I found out what that shooting pain in my leg was thanks to the doctor i went to see. Apparently when I do squats and stuff my spine compresses which causes nerves to get pinched which causes random pains around my body. tldr my spine is not man enough to handle my squatting
Lol love you, guys. Time for bed for me. <3 Rest day tomorrow's going to suck but then it's leg dayyyy next. Which also sucks but leaves me in serious (good) pain.
(no homo) did back day today, minimal rest did deadlifts at the end brb sitting in locker room for 15 minutes trying to not pass out [editline]25th February 2011[/editline]
Well I found out what that shooting pain in my leg was thanks to the doctor i went to see. Well I have minor scoliosis as well it turns out, but its only like 5 degrees. It's very minor up to like 20 degrees so I'm pretty safe. Looks straight unless you look real closely. [editline]25th February 2011[/editline] Also the other day when I did military press and was still sick I nearly projectile vomitted all over the mirror.

I've been thinking about quitting eating candy and drinking soda, the thing is that I'm not overweight or anything. I actually need to gain some weight. So I wondered, will I gain more weight by quitting on candy and soda, and eat more healthier?

You might be more stable weight-wise, and gain more slowly. Which is a good thing, in terms of body fat.
brah when I do my single hand curls with 50 pounds each I feel like a God, after the 8th rep I lower it ultra slow for the burn and fuaaarrrk feels like a clamp right on my arm
this may be a retarded question but you're doing this with one arm then you swap to the other, right? [editline]25th February 2011[/editline] off to my job, manual labour workout ftw
Depends on how much you actually need. You might be more stable weight-wise, and gain more slowly. Which is a good thing, in terms of body fat.
Is there like a "quiz" site that can somewhat measure your bodyfat %?
I need to get my bodyfat%, where's the best place to go?

You're probably not going to get bigger unless you also eat lots of real food I think. [editline]25th February 2011[/editline]
(no homo)
stop saying that, everyone knows this thread is extremely homo.
I need to get my bodyfat%, where's the best place to go?
5-7 site clipper. Nothing better than that. All those digital piece o' shit equipment are about as true as Obama's promises. Unless, you go to one of the local labs / universities and ask for a body fat check. Accurate as fuck.
just came back from my swimming carnival. feels awesome being one of the swolest bros around the pool. sluzzas all up in here. i had "u mirin?" painted down my arm, and "GET SWOLE" on my back, as well as lots of other shit. i think at least 10 other guys had zyzz quotes on them. them zyzz quotes sure get around. will post some pics later
i hate all that bodybuilder shit.
also i saw zyzz's bro, chestbrah, and his aesthetics crew in the carlingford shops the other day. fuaark.
Today I'm going to deadlift for the first time, how many kg should I start with?
Today I'm going to deadlift for the first time, how many kg should I start with?
What I would do is experiment around. Start very low and keep adding weight until you think it's ideal for whatever amount of reps you're doing.
there is quite a bit of good info there but quite a bit of wrong info as well so idk, one of the reasons I made mistakes when I started working out is because I read forums like that where half the posts are troll/uninformed/broscience posts Also, anyone got the link to that site with all the exercises
Dang, didn't know that. also you mean this one? http://www.exrx.net/Lists/Directory.html [editline]rofl[/editline] woo hoo post count is back and we have our own subsubsection
Well look at that WITNESS THE FITNESS BITCH
FUCK YEAH inb4 this is the only thread in the section quick, somebody make a ton of threads!
I'm planning on making a nutrition thread when I get the chance. Right now I have to study for a test that I have to take in an hour. [editline]25th February 2011[/editline] Other good threads might could be a cutting thread, bulking thread, calisthenics, etc.
I think what we should all do is create personal Progress Threads like on SA and BB.com [editline]25th February 2011[/editline] kinda like a Bodyspace thread
AKA POYM- Pictures of Your Muscles
AKA POYM- Pictures of Your Muscles
Question: Should we make a separate thread "Post your stats" (which means anything from 1rms to bodyfat) or include that into the picture thread?
I've started a progress thread, y'all should do the same.
I've started a progress thread, y'all should do the same.
Will make one once I take a ton of pictures. Also who will be the OP of the PYOM thread?
Not a big poster here but could use some advice. I've got a decent programme going and my diet is pretty good, 6 medium meals a day, plenty of protein and plenty of sleep. I go to weigh myself at the gym today and I've lost 2 pounds in the last 2 weeks! I'm 180lbs, 6' exactly and have very little bodyfat. There's not that much I can do in the way of eating as it already costs me a small fortune in food as it is. What foods are the best bang for buck? Chicken, salmon and eggs don't seem to be doing the trick. I'm already on protein supplements, might get back on the creatine but never saw huge results on it. I've been neglecting my legs for a looooong time so I reckon I'm gonna start hitting the legs hard and I should see an easy 10lbs there, same with the shoulders too but how else can I get out of this plateau?
