I fucked up my wrist at a party when I woke up on the bathroom floor. When I try to do push ups my wrist goes through a shit load of pain. So what muscles does push ups actually target? I want to know some other exercises I could do that have the same effect. Lifting weights above my head is also a problem because of what I did to my wrist. My right arm is starting to look bigger than my left and It's fucking weird looking. I can still masturbate with my left hand though.
Pushups workout your pecs and triceps. I don't know any exercises that won't put some stress on your wrists. Just ice your wrist and keep it rested.

Man I haven't been heavy lifting in years. It's time to start again. I need to concentrate on more fat loss though, can't even see my abs :( Was at 210 about 2 years ago and went up to 260, working it off now within a month I lost 30lbs and am down to 230. 30 more to go, I want to see some abs god damnit!
So I just finished watching `Bigger Stronger Faster` (Documentary on steroids/working out). I started watching it a while ago but never got to the end. It's definitely pretty cool, the end is mostly on advertising and the supplement industry: They show one of those 'before and after' pictures and both of them are taken in the same day lol. Oh, and he makes his own 'supplement' with some illegal mexican workers, just to show how unregulated the industry is. I now have second thoughts about purchasing protein.. Okay that makes me severely doubt you can deadlift over 400. But how long was that progress, like what was the time span between the pictures?

I'm expecting my lifts to have dropped off pretty steeply considering I'll have spent 5 months with just dumbbells, bodyweight circuits and HIIT. :( I SHALL TRY NOT TO DISAPPOINT.
Anything you guys do to get pumped/motivated for a good workout> I've been kinda busy lately and since then I've a lost a lot of my motivation work out. I need to get back to my routine.

[editline]27th October 2010[/editline] So sore, today I had to do the exact same workout I did yesterday because as a weird chance of events, I was asked to be in a documentary about working out by a news channel around here. They wanted me to bench/deadlift/curl and I couldn't really deny lol. They wanted 'someone who you can tell works out but does not take steroids' haha. Pretty much a movie star here :smug:
