What is a good goal for free-weights? I have no access to a bench-press or any sort of exercise machine.
good goal for what exactly?
What is a good goal for free-weights? I have no access to a bench-press or any sort of exercise machine.
I'm guessing by free weights you mean dumbbells? Get yourself a bench, with a bench and dumbbells you can do a ton of exercises. You can also do bodyweight exercises like dragon flags using a bench.
what is the right amount of pushups/sit ups a day?
good goal for what exactly?
Well for how many curls in a row you can do with a specified weight. Or a good amount to do daily.
what is the right amount of pushups/sit ups a day?
There is no right amount. I can only do 12 consecutive pull-ups right now, but I do three sets.
what is the right amount of pushups/sit ups a day?
depends on your weight and strength, for example: if the most pushups at once you can do is 20,then do 3 sets of 15 or something of the sort and if you can do 50 situps, do a few sets of 40's [editline]06:06AM[/editline] the point is just try and do the most you can so that the last rep you do in each one is very tough and on the 3rd set the last rep is pretty much impossible [editline]06:07AM[/editline]
There is no right amount. It's a whole new world of pullups :v:
Well for how many curls in a row you can do with a specified weight. Or a good amount to do daily.
the basic rule is 3 sets of 8-12, where in each set you're tired by the end and by the 3rd set you can't do the last few reps, that's how you know you have the right weight. once you can do 3 sets of 12, then move up a weight, and start the process over. what I do for curls is 3 sets of 8-12, then do one last set and move the weight up and do just a few reps [editline]06:10AM[/editline]
Not yet, but I'm going to start doing weighted dips with about 25lbs or so. I just hate when the chain hits your nuts..

Synthol is the only way I roll.
A good protein is Myofusion: Gaspari has always been known to be reliable, and use only clean products in their protein. It has low fat, high protein, and best of all, tastes fucking incredible!
I am currently taking this stuff. I only bought it because I had a coupon for GNC. I usually go with Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard 100% whey. EXTREME CHOCOLATE! They're both good brands. Casein protein is also a must if you're serious about packing on muscle. It's super-slow digesting whey protein. It takes 3-4 hours to digest, and because if this, it steadily releases protein and BCAAs over an extended period of time, compared to whey which is fully digested within 2 hours.
Synthol is the only way I roll.
don't know if srs but synthol makes your muscles completely unproportional and deformed
don't know if srs
Of course not.

People have built slabs of muscle for years without even touching milk proteins. What's a "must" is calories.

The biggest weight I have in my house is 8lbs :saddowns: Almost every night i do 100 curls v:v:v
Too bad there's not a bunch of girls of facepunch. I want to find out an answer to the age old question of what's more attractive: A skinny guy with a sixpack or A guy who works out and has proportional muscles (much bigger than skinny kid) but only has a sixpack when flexing

They think I look ~so hot~ as a twig with abs
The biggest weight I have in my house is 8lbs :saddowns: Almost every night i do 100 curls v:v:v
according to my calculations, that means you do 800 pounds! but in all seriousness, try and buy some larger dumbbells, 100 reps won't really do anything lol
Most females I talk to don't really want me to bulk up at all unfortunately. They think I look ~so hot~ as a twig with abs
Yeah that's the same with me, when I had a sixpack and played sports 5-7 times a week for 2-3 hours a day, I had a fully defined sixpack at 130 pounds. Like, completely toned. Girls would always talk about it but now as I'm losing the sixpack and packing on the muscle, I still see girls going crazy over pictures of skinny ass guys who do nothing but sit at home all day and how theyre so 'jackkedd!!! ;)' I'm hoping that older girls (in their 20's) will find size a bit more attractive. I'm still really not sure about it. [editline]06:32AM[/editline]
from what i know its mostly about the way there face and body looks and muscle doesnt make that big of a difference
yeah yeah but if you can have a nice face and body, why not have muscle as well? if you had to choose between a BMW that looked exactly the same but had a 1.8 liter engine or a 3.0 liter twin turbo, which would you choose? :iiaca:
There is no right amount. I can only do 12 consecutive pull-ups right now, but I do three sets.
Fuck me and my metabolism. 20 pullups, easy. 59 push-ups, whenever. Benching 135, it's a struggle man. Even then, my arms are fucking tiny.
