It's pretty much 100% impressing people, sadly. 90% appearance, 10% being stronger (to impress people with strength).
For me it's because I've always been an active person and I like being the boss of the workout so I go at my pace, at the time I want to go, and do the things I want to do. Also, I'm pretty much 50% strength and 50% appearance for the babes. But to get the appearance you gotta get strength first so you can up the weight. Like right now, I'm bulking up to 160-170 then doing a fuckton of cardio.

On my chest/shoulder/tris day I do bench, chest flys, dips, tricep pulldowns, shoulder press, shoulder flys and some other stuff
i know but i get tired at the end of the workout session (1 hour) and i cbf doing my bench :frown:
