A larger majority of having abs that show is eating right. Although, it will also help to add more cardio with your weightlifting so you can burn more calories while increasing your metabolism
so six pack, eat more calories from protein? what?
basically, only eat calories you need like from protein, cut off junk food
right, I can do that easily, I hardly eat junk food anyways. so reccomend me shit to eat, stuff high in protein?
well if you drink soda then i advise stopping. Try eating a lot of white meats like tuna, chicken, etc. and fruits (especially high in potassium) like strawberries, bananas, etc. also, pbj sandwich on wheat bread is very good or peanutbutter and banana
I wish I wasnt so poor. I know I dont get enough protein which makes me annoyed that im doing all this work everyday but not gaining as much as I should because I dont have meat to eat
I wish I wasnt so poor. As i said peanut butter is a very good source of protein and also so are beans and both of which are relatively cheap and last a long time so you can buy in bulk [editline]14th December 2010[/editline]
obviously no chips/fried shit, right
yeah. And feel free to browse the internet on proper dieting. You have almost infinite knowledge at your finger tips
infinite knooooowledge. Thanks for your help, I'll post results in 2 weeks.
haha yeah. And sounds good, man. I look forward to seeing results
I went to the gym today, and I think I sat on the bench for the bench press wrong, the place in between my shoulder blade and my spine was on the edge of the bench, I went to lift 130 and it felt like I cracked something in my back and my shoulder hurts whenever I move at certain angles now... what did I do to myself?
Here's a more unedited-more normal posed version of my progress. Though since I'm sure you guys are tired of seeing pictures of topless dudes I'll just post the link if you're actually curious enough to look. http://imgur.com/UbNKs.png

I'm really confused on your explanation of how it happened
probably just sprained something. if the pain persists you should see a doctor. I'm really confused on your explanation of how it happened
I laid down on the bench, and my shoulder blade was off the bench barely, and the corner of the bench was on that spot with all the muscle on your back.
looking good. what is your split now?
I'm sticking with my current routine until after finals are over (This week) until I have time to set-up a better split. I'll probably go with something similar to what you suggested only with a little bit less volume. As much as I'd like to work out that much in a day I'm pretty sure I'd halt my progress doing that much in a single workout.
yeah i understand. I wanted to give a wide range of choices for you and i kinda got carried away.
Alright heres a pic of me, 64.2 kgs, started at 60 kgs been lifting for 5 months, im slowely getting there im ecto so it takes for fucking EVER! lol. Im actually heaps more tanned than this but lighting and shitty camera are making me look paleish (is that a word?? is now).
Seems like 4.5 kgs over your first 5 months is a little bit slow. Eat more! Regardless, progress is progress. Good job.
Recently I've started lifting weights and eating right (cutting) except using bmr calculators and such, the amount that im meant to be eating on a cut (1800 cals) exceeds the amount I used to eat, yet my weight stayed completely the same back then. My stats are 5'7", 145 lbs. What's up with this? It could be macro distribution (I would eaten much more carbs back then instead of protein) but i wouldve been eating like 1300-1500 calories or something pretty low.
You're cutting at 145lbs? :raise:
Yeah its slow going (ecto remember), My diet does need to imrpove its good, but could be better I am in the market for some new supplements im likely to to go with a whey protein shake for after workouts and a casin shake for before bed, or maybe some mass builders? we shall see.
You're cutting at 145lbs? :raise:
5'7" plus I barely have any muscle, im skinnyfat, and i have tons of fat in my legs, looks horrible.

[editline]14th December 2010[/editline]
Why do you have massive arms and pecs the size of mine [editline]11th December 2010[/editline] and extreme upper body vascularity but no lower body vascularity/no lower abs/no adonis belt Not judging but do you take roids [editline]11th December 2010[/editline] Because all the visual cues are popping up
And sorry, but my arms, chest, and everything is bigger than yours.
5'7" plus I barely have any muscle, im skinnyfat, and i have tons of fat in my legs, looks horrible.
Well make sure you're getting a good amount of protein and calories for your body to rebuild and repair. you may want to shoot for 2000 (or maybe a bit more) cals a day and just keep a good, consistent work out schedule. I think that would be ideal in the long term. [editline]14th December 2010[/editline]
And sorry, but my arms, chest, and everything is bigger than yours.
If this is going to turn into an argument then let's prevent it from starting now.
Was benching today, managed to max out a double at 195.
