oh god seriously what
You mirin my umbrella? bigger than urs fag
i mean that's cool if you need to compensate for something
:smug:
I really need to start exercising again, I want to get tone now that I've lost (most) fat.
Lost around 30 pounds in 2 months after cutting soda and sugary shit out. Feel a lot better and I don't miss any of it. If you would've told me 6 months ago that I'd be able to do around 500 sit ups, I would've laughed in your face.
500 sit-ups sounds like the most boring workout in the universe.

hi5, bro. That's some legit progress. Diet is a big portion of it. Do you work out at home or at a gym?
holy shit 500 sit ups is some serious endurance, you may want to start doing weighted and possible incline sit ups. Vary it up a bit

Well, it was sets of 250 which were further divided in 7 sets of 35 or so, different variations.
250 before cardio and 250 after, plus biceps every other day.

You probably don't want to do bi's every other day. They need more time to rest, otherwise you're over training
The biggest i ever shit was 2 kg. My goal is 3 like in the comic
I suck at lifting weights, my max is around 50lbs on each sides
If you're a complete beginner and you can lift 50 lbs per hand on a support ill give you a medal.
saxophones fucking everywhere
ok well first time posting in this thread so heres my story
this is not after a bulking phase or anything i was just seriously fat and nearing obese probably (maybe i was already lol.) i looked like this until early march.
http://img560.imageshack.us/img560/5434/theblobthatwas.jpg
this is me in like middle of august. i started doing long-term goal diets after learning some serious shit about body building and being healthy and stuff. i am wearing a medium shirt in this picture. i lost about 55 pounds between those pics.
http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/4720/crossarmsasshole.png
ive lost another 10 pounds since then because my weight loss plateau'd. woops. so heres me like a week ago or something i dont remember
http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs1230.snc4/156264_1359115516543_1791186249_689247_3093086_n.jpg
and like 2 lbs since then (1 week and like 5-6 days... nice nice)
im wearing a large t shirt in that picture. my arms :') too bad i dont got any pictures of i posing.
what im doin atm (plan is muscle maintain, maybe small gains, fat loss) 30 lb dumbbells. i curl 7 reps, 7 reps of overhead lifts, 10 trap lifts, 10 dumbbell bench press kinda thing. then with some 10 lb dumbbells i do 10 flies. 3 sets of that workout 'routine' has served me well so far. i need to switch it up soon but dont have access to a gym and all my modular weights have shitty clamps so shit falls off :/. im getting a 40 lb adjustable weighted vest for xmas so i can start doing pushups for more gains and more effective abs shit and of course cardio too. :)
yay for health

thank you for the comments guys :):) also i was 5 foot 6 at 238~ lbs and now 5 foot 8 at 175, still losing weight. my muscles are really rock hard now so im going to start lifting more after i hit my goal which is 160. hope to do that by march - 78 lbs in one year. :) i hope i can get that low, might not be able to with muscle gains, but i can sure as hell try

You might want to start lifting now. It'll will increase your body's metabolism and help you lose fat weight and gain muscle weight.

Hey binksy why is this guy posting pictures of you
[editline]17th December 2010[/editline]
dece leg development bro
Finally starting to do cardio, and it feels great.
Already weightlift 3 times a week (Mon-Back/arms Wed-Legs/shoulders Fri-Chest/abs), but really want to burn some body fat to get the six pack showing for all the ladies :)
The perfect body for me would be the same as the Spartan's from 300. Just the right amount i think, not too much.

i need to get working out again
i feel weak
So does this thread double as a general fitness thread or is it exclusively for bodybuilding/weightlifting?

I'd be happy with that.

I would imagine.
So does this thread double as a general fitness thread or is it exclusively for bodybuilding/weightlifting?
Yeah i'd say it could double. I see no problem with that
So does this thread double as a general fitness thread or is it exclusively for bodybuilding/weightlifting?
I, being the all-powerful thread creator think that`s cool (as long as you don`t completely derail the thread into a running thread or something I see no problem with it)

had leg/abs today, by FAR the day where I get tired the most, ugh squats
Alright well, I'm currently at 105lbs and I'm 5'3". I'm definitely not looking to lose weight but I do want to get toned a bit. Any suggestions for like casual exercises to maybe help? I'm not of the male variety though so I'm not sure how much exercise routines would differ. The tools I have available are a small punching bag and a treadmill. Nothing else really.

wait does 'not of the male variety' mean you're a girl?
if so, the routines don't really differ too much, except guys usually want to build muscle (more intense programs, more demanding exercises, heavier weight) and girls want to get toned so they do different things
i think circuit training would be good in your case: running on the treadmill and doing some aerobic, stuff like this

^this girl has a very lean body and does a lot of good exercises, the exercising part starts at 3:30 in that video, all the stuff she does is for fat loss/toning so watch a bunch of her videos and that should help quite a bit
oh and she used to be in porn so she sometimes overdoes the breathing and gives the videos weird names but meh v:v:v
