Oh well, I'll just do 30-40 push ups every half an hour. I'm already dieting to get ready for next swim season.

What flavour myofusion?
Hey whats the best way to get abs? right now im doing bicycle sit-ups but I know there has to be something better then that.
Bicycle routine is the best ab workout hands down. It gets everything. Don't forget your obliques when working your midsection... Stand up with feet at equal to or a little less than shoulder width. Bend both arms at ninety degree angles. I hold a pair of low weight dumbbells - 15 to 20 lbs - just for the isolation exercise it gives. Flex your midsection rigorously while turning left and right. Speed doesn't matter but just make sure you're going all the way to each side. Do 75-125 of these. Go ahead, add it to training day. You could do it every day, really. EDIT: Don't forget the old saying: Abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym. You really can't be fat at all to have visible abs. You must have an athletic body fat percentage, so eat healthy!
um what about rest you're going to overtrain dude... i hope you're taking serious supplement
Well, that was an overstatement. I would just go about and do them every hour at least. And I've seen progress to say the least.
Fine I'll go with the water whey even though it nearly made me throw up.
Not only just a different way of doing things, it's also a hell of work out! I'd rather train with ropes than with some conventional weights. It's good cardio, gives you lot's of strength and a much better muscle coördination than most conventional weights can give you. Oh, and it's fun and very exhausting. So I can feel with you bro, if I had the bucks to spend on one those I would.
It looks fun. If only i could find some place where gyms and sports teams sold their old ones after replacing them...

I think I MIGHT pick up some of this mystical Whey. I don't get a lot of protein in my diet anyway. I think I'm going to see if there is any myofusion milk chocolate at my local vitamin shoppe.

Many people overmix it, you're only supposed to have like 150-250 ml of water for a scoop of protein, that's less than a cup. Makes a huge difference taste wise
i want to get jacked shoot
i want to get jacked shoot
eat hard lift hard sleep hard :colbert:
sleep hard
Just don't do it while laying on your stomach :argh:
eat hard lift hard sleep hard :colbert:
does any of this involve getting hard and whacking off to cook books? I am mighty good at that

Leg raises, leg raises and leg raises. Probably the best ab exercises you have. If you´re good at it you might be able to pull off dragon flags:
I've had dragon flags in my abs routine for a couple of weeks. I could only do like 2 sets of 8 before my arms just died. I stopped though because i prefer sticking to simpler exercises like weighted crunches and leg raises. It is a pretty intense exercise though.
myofusion is a clean blend, tastes great, low calories, etc. etc. just an overall good protein gaspari is a reliable brand too
I use Body Fortress. Pretty low calorie, good protein, tastes great, nice and cheap and I can get it at my Wal-Mart. My only issue is it doesn't mix well.
Why the fuck do people always treat abs like some kind of alien muscle that needs to be treated differently? To get more mass on your abs you have to do the exactly same thing you do with any other muscle: WEIGHTS!
Your own body is a weight itself, you don't need to add some extra weights, you just need to know how to use your own body. You can train and become big with purely your own bodyweight, it takes you very long before you reach that point your own body is no obstacle anymore and you can add weight to it. Training with loose conventional weights is just easier to become big at but will takes you longer to convert that strength in functional strength because you're missing that muscle coördination. Training with your own body also trains your nervous system. We are not treating our abs like alien muscles, it's just that adding weight in the process is kind of unnecessary with all the variations and techniques. Plus you already target your core as soon as you start lifting weight. Your core is always under stress whether it to be a standing military press or a bench press. Can you do one armed handstand pushups or one armed pullups? I think the majority in your gym can not even pull off a regular one armed pushup. To make my point clear: it's not that we are treating our muscles differently, it's just applying a different technique that has the same/maybe better effect. A good example would be Eugene Sandow, he could pull big massive iron chains apart and that guy trained calisthenics the old fashioned way.
For beginners BW exercises are quite efficient yes, but after a month or two they will stop giving you any kind of gains, whether its strength or mass. Believe me I've tried every single BW ab exercise in existence and I managed to do all of them and mostly without feeling any kind of pump in my abs, which is why I resorted to using weights. and weights are how I gained most of the mass on my abs. Also it's true that doing very heavy compound exercises (squats, pull-ups and deadlifts) work your core very well and you technically don't even have to do ab workouts.
P. Much. Some of the world's biggest abs have never done a crunch.
I use Body Fortress. Pretty low calorie, good protein, tastes great, nice and cheap and I can get it at my Wal-Mart. My only issue is it doesn't mix well.
The only problem with stuff from wal-mart and other cheap places, is that the protein is not as good and even though let`s say I put a scoop of my stuff into a shake and drink it, and you do the same, even though the amount we put in says `30 grams of protein`, I will probably be able to absorb way more protein than you will, since mine would be better made.
What do you guys think about protein intake on rest/recovery days? More than on workout days? Less than? The same? On my rest days I'm going to be doing my weakness, cardio. I ran for a mile or so then did some various exercises, then I drank one of these.... In an individual packet. I had a vanilla one like a few months ago and it was rancid. I tried this chocolate flavour with a little pinch of sugar and a bit more milk than 8oz it calls for. AND IT WAS DELICIOUS. Too bad that was my last one, and it only has 14g of protein which is pretty shit. When I go out christmas shopping im going to pick up some of that chocolate mysofusion. Apparently I calculated my intake of protein and on average I'm probably 40g-50g of protein deficient every day. So this should be pretty good for me.

Shit`s expensive and I can`t see it being too useful when I don`t workout (keep in mind I work out monday to friday so I only don`t take it saturday and sunday). Oh and also, remember, some foods that you don`t think have protein actually do, milk has a lot and so do nuts and peanut butter and etc. etc. how much are you planning to have a day?

So so far I only have had 28g or so. Apparently I should have around 115g by the end of the day for daily intake. I was just thinking a little protein on rest days would help the repair and recovery process.
