alright. Forearm strength is always p good to have btw so if you're not working them you should be

wrist curls, and deadlifts help forearm strength quite a bit too
I'm doing a few curls and might start up the wrist curls too. Deadlifts though wouldn't be a good idea. My hamstrings are so short that with straight legs I can barely touch my knees so either I wouldn't even be able to get down to lift it or I would tear something horribly.
idk i'll post some pics in a second i like the idea. Also how old are you?
And you said you have pectus excavatum? It's hardly noticeable.
i think it's pretty noticeable...? [editline]6th January 2011[/editline]
In the first shot it looks like you have a human in your back. Also how old are you?
i'm 20 and haha yeah it looks like the thing from space invaders
i think it's pretty noticeable...?
Well, it's hard to tell with photos lol. Just saying that since I'm a respiratory therapy student and I did a report on pectus excavatum last term.
I guess you're kind of right none of the pics really show it that well i guess it's lack of shading
Allmax quickmass, has protein carbs creatine everything it`s good stuff
Im not getting any weight gainers with creatine in them, ive heard nothing but bad things about it so I will be taking creatine seperate so I can control it completely.
with benchpress, deadlifts and squats, you should also do curls, skullcrushers, shoulderpress and back rows ^those can all be done with just a bar and weights also, do 3 sets of 8-10 reps, and by the end of the last set you should be pretty much failing to put the weight up breathe out when you are doing the hard part of your exercise (pushing the bar up in benchpress, curling the bar up when curling, etc.) and breathe in on the negatives take it slow and remember that proper form is the most important part, good luck
Alright, great input, thank you! Also to note that I'm not fat one bit.. Which is odd, but I guess it will come in handy because I don't have to burn any fat beforehand So skullcrushers, curls, shoulder press and backrows it is then, along with the other few. gotta google up some for the specifics, but I guess it ain't all too hard to get used to the routine and the proper form.

After this p90x program I'm going to just plant something on paper and follow those so that I don't have to move my TV every time I want to do my excercises. I've been thinking something along these lines: Mon: Biceps, Triceps, Shoulders, Abs Tue: P90X Stretch Wed: Chest, Back, Abs Thu: P90X Yoga Fri: Legs, Abs Sat: P90X Stretch Sun: nothing Am I missing something there?
I was going to post an old pic for comparison, but couldn't find any good ones. But I've managed to achieve this (mostly) at home, without nutrients, without changing my eating habits and being really lazy and I may have had a month of doing nothing. And I went to gym only around 10-15 times during the last year. I bought a 65kg barbell before chrismas and before that I only did bodyweight exercises and ran. But I'm quite satisfied with my results ! The lighting does highlight the picture quite alot though, and I couldn't get a proper picture of my back with my phone. And I'm not taking my jeans off so that you could fap and I could show my legs, they are a little behind anyway. Wish me luck !
Day 1- chest shoulders tris Bench (each week interchange between dumbbell bench and bar) shoulder press Skull crushers (or lying tricep extensions) Incline bench (interchange between dumbbell and bar) shoulder raises dips (weighted if you can) flies standing tricep extensions (one arm or two arm) pull overs Day 2- rest Day 3- rest Day 4- back, bi's, forearms preacher curls pulls ups (weighted) hammer curls bent over rows incline curls lat pull downs (if your gym has them interchange with rows if you can do those too) reverse preacher curls wrist curls reverse wrist curls day 5- rest day 6- legs, lower back Squats deadlifts calf raises lunges power squats leg extensions ham curls reverse sit up good mornings day 7- rest Abs and obliques- you're going to want to sprinkle these work outs through out the week. You can do them on rest days if you'd like or put them during another work out. Try not to be at the gym too long though because you're body will get tired and end up hurting more than it's helping. Try to do 3-4 of these work outs: leg raises windshield wipers twisting incline sit ups kick outs oblique raises planks side planks bicycle crunches V ups up downs side to sides down ups The amount of sets and reps depends on the work out. Unless you're doing something like squats, deadlift, or bench i'd recommend doing 3 sets and try something to the extent of 7-10 reps. For the previously mentioned work outs you'll want to probably focus more on high weight and low rep so more like 4 or 5 sets of 5-8 reps [editline]6th January 2011[/editline] i posted a video that shows good bench form on the last page you should take a look. Also, if you do want stronger forearms try reverse curls, pronator curls, supinator curls, wrist curls, reverse wrist curls, etc.
Thanks a lot! :buddy: I'll get started this Sunday.
Man I need to cut my carbs down big time. For breakfast I have 2 slices of bread (normally white) and 2 scrambled eggs (no milk or butter), sometimes soft boiled eggs. For lunch I have a fairly large portion of chicken / tuna + pasta in plain tomato and basil sauce. At night I normally eat pretty healthy but potatoes can often be included. Think I'll swap my morning bread for wholemeal, I prefer brown bread anyways and for lunch I'll make a big batch of Chicken stir fry but instead of noodles use brown rice, should keep the carbs down and protein up.
I love training my forearms. Easiest bodypart.
Also, just wangled my way out of an old gym contract :smug: Joined the gym back in September as a favour to a friend who wanted to start training, it was inconvenient for me to go to that gym but I did it as a favour because he really wanted to start training and for me to coach him, plus I normally go on my own and thought the company would be cool. A few weeks in and he started making the excuses as to why he couldn't go gym tonite so I found myself going alone, I didn't mind that but it was the traffic on the way in the car that bugged me. I was getting home at 8-9 o clock every night, pointless when there's a gym over the road from where I work and I can be home by 7 at the latest, giving me more time to go out. I had my boss write me a fake letter saying I'd lost my job and could no longer afford the membership, a few days later they called saying they had cancelled my membership on those terms. I did have a backup plan to void my contract by being banned either by getting naked and walking into the girl's changing rooms and saying "Who wants some?", or standing by the side of the pool and pissing in it :v:
Can anyone help me get started on working out? I'm 14, we have like a gym at my school, where the students can go whenever they want. I usually do stuff like and chinups with leg raises. I don't wanna spend all my day working out, 30-60 mins each day is fine.

All of you are just as capable at getting to that point if you want (some of you are p much there). Most of my hobbies involve physical activity so that helps too
<--- Jelly of Binsky's shoulders actually pretty much everyone's shoulders because mine are pathetic.
pics? What do you shoulder work outs include?
pics? What do you shoulder work outs include?
too ashamed of them to take a pic also pretty much every dumbbell exercise provided here: http://www.exrx.net/Lists/ExList/ShouldWt.html
No one here's going to judge you but if you really don't want to that's fine. And posting that website doesn't really do me a lot of good because i don't know what you're doing a specifically where as that site has almost every work out on it [editline]6th January 2011[/editline]
Joined a new gym just over the road from work so I'm hitting the gym twice a day now, no joining fee, no contract plus the place is full of 'roid heads' but they are all sound and offer good advice, I'm not too far off my 13.5 stone target (around 90kgs), 2 lbs to go and I'm there, then time to aim for 14 stone in time for the summer.
Nice, man. i'm still about 5 lbs away from my weight goal. I really don't care at all how much I weigh, I'm basing all my advancements by what I see. I don't want to weight much at all, but I wouldn't mind if its muscle. I should probably change my diet though, I am still in "weight loss mode" so I barely eat anything and do miles and miles of cardio a day because I used to be pretty big.
