Dead lift also is really hard on the back. I nearly threw it out the other week because I wasn't careful.
deadlifts are easily my favourite exercise to do. the amount of power that goes into it makes me feel like i could break my garage door by screaming at it, it's great.
since i started doing deadlifts my lower back has bulked a great deal and my posture is a lot better.
thanks, deadlifts.

EXACTLY how I feel
it`s my heaviest lift by far and once I do it it makes me feel accomplished lol
I feel like I do the dead lift wrong. So I stick to the lower weights til I get my technique right.

Nice, I'll only eat around 3800 today, but that seems to be enough for me.
I just noticed that If I'd gain 2 more kilos I would be on the limit of being slightly overweight, according to BMI. ATM you can see my ribs really well. :v:
BTW I just bought my first "nutrition", if you can call it that, to get my weight up.

Most BMI counters you find on the web don't include bodyfat. So it's not accurate.
What is your guys body fat percentage? I just calculated and found out mine is 7.5.

What did you use to calculate it? Most of the methods are really inaccurate.

Holy shit, my goal by summer is 8% and I'm 13% right now.
If you're at 7% you must be shredded as fuck.
Imma facepunching on ma walk break on the treadmill. 50 minutes down, 40 to go!
Why are you running for so long on a treadmill, that sounds like torture.

lol it was more of a inside joke with my friends. Like i would become a oxymoron almost, a super ripped gamer. Also a girl LANs with us so it was a joke that they would come over and i would be like, "oh sry guys and girls, let me go find my shirt, i was in an intense tf2 match and i was feeling a little hot"
but im definitely going to the beach more often this summer.
You should go run outside lol.
Btw about running.
I'm going to run a half marathon in summer during a local event. Or should I try to exceed myself and try to go for a marathon and start practising now, or is it too late already?
I'm sure I could do the half marathon easily. Last summer I ran around 22 km to swim in a small pond and after swimming for an hour we ran around 4km to my friends summer cottage to go to a sauna. I used one proper drinking break (5 mins) and rest of the time I drank sports drink during running. I hadn't run much before that. Now I'm trying to do a 8 km run a few times a week and I'm probably going to add 5 km route to every two run or so. I can probably run the 8 km in 40 minutes or so at least. But normally I don't hurry and during winter it takes much longer.
So the question is should I try to aim for a better half marathon time or just try to be able to run a full marathon?

holy crap that is low
mine is probably high, 15-20 by now
started out at an estimated 11-12
idk just estimates lol
but yeah anyone seen the new planet fitness commercials? this gym is bullshit
they don't encourage heavy weights or bodybuilders, just average people...
bodybuilders are what made working out so mainstream and known to many people
and you can't grunt or drop weights or anything of the sort, there is an alarm that goes off if someone even slightly drops weights
and....they give out pizza once a week....WTF, america's getting trolled HARD
here's their commercial

oh well, at least this 'gym' gets all the people taking up the squat rack for curls or benchpress for abs out of my gym
Worst gym ever I'd say.
OH LOL
this guy wreaks havoc at planet fitness, watch the whole video and you`ll see what I mean:
