Im drinking 2 liters of milk a day (plus the milkshakes so thats around 3.5l a day in total) and just eat healthy and have lots of fruit for snacks. Livestrong is showing me i hit the needed 4000 cals but im averaging 38% fat for each day. That okay or too fatty for bulk?
getting this tomorrow [img_thumb]http://www.gamisport.sk/images/produkty/Kettler_Delta_-_zoom.jpg[/img_thumb]
Got it today, did a 40 minute work out, feels good. I didn't get all the weights though, so I did 5x10 benchpress instead of 5x5. I'm glad I don't have a 20 minute drive when I want to work out now. [editline]19th January 2011[/editline] Also, I'm trying to lose weight (I know I should bulk first etc. but I've always been kinda chubby and want to get rid of it now). What is the best way to do this without losing too much muscle?
lol two rest days is too much for me I'm getting so addicted to lifting that even my 1 rest day seems too counterproductive for me.
My back, chest and abs workout makes me feel like i've accomplished something. But I'm not feeling the burn in bi and tri workout, the free weights feel too light but I can't move them when I go up.
Many here seems to think bulking is necessary to gain muscle.
i just finished back, bi's, and forearms. P good day. Hopefully going outdoor climbing this weekend if it doesn't snow.
Did 79 situps today. Going up from being able to do 33 situps in September. Feels good man. I also brought myself down to 345 pounds post workout, so I'm making some real progress. I was 355 after winter break ended (beginning of this month)
i just finished back, bi's, and forearms. P good day. Bench press doesn't really work forearms and neither do lat pull downs unless you do like one, two, or three fingers lat pull downs.
Why should I? I feel it in my wrists when I do lat pulldowns if I do them with my palms facing me. I haven't had any issues with my wrists not being strong enough ever either.
Benched 170 today finally. and military pressed 145. Woop. No I don't know why I decided to bench on a shoulder day.

Forearms are the foundation of a lot of work outs [editline]19th January 2011[/editline]
Benched 170 today finally. and military pressed 145. Woop. Yeah but I have a day for chest and tris so it's a bit more logical to do bench on that day

Like I've said, I've never had trouble with them being weak, they always seem to keep up with the rest of my body.
Yeah but I have a day for chest and tris so it's a bit more logical to do bench on that day
I don't even have a shoulders day. I've heard a bunch of times that military press is really hard on your shoulder joint and isn't all that functional anyways. I do them somewhat light and I'll do flies, but I do those on chest days if I have a little spare time.
Military press is the best, it's almost all I do specifically for shoulders and they're still getting bigger.
They work your shoulders really well, but they're still really hard on the shoulder joint, which is injury prone. Just make sure you have good form.

Also that if you make it stronger then it can help you make more increases

what I think you forgot to add text there, bro.
Chill kiwi, he's got this.
what I think you forgot to add text there, bro.
i didn't forget it just put what i said in the quote box for some reason. MY B [editline]19th January 2011[/editline]
Chill kiwi, he's got this.
THANKS FoR HAVING MY BAK, BRO
Benched 170 today finally. and military pressed 145. Woop. No I don't know why I decided to bench on a shoulder day.
beast. is that supported or un-supported military press? if un-supported; super beast.
beast. is that supported or un-supported military press? if un-supported; super beast.
yeah that is a p good amount of weight for military press. Especially compared to what you bench, Perf
beast. is that supported or un-supported military press? if un-supported; super beast.
Un-supported. I felt like a fucking badass after I got it all the way up. [editline]20th January 2011[/editline] Because I just did like 50lbs more than my friend somehow. Maybe I have super strong shoulders for some genetic reason.

i wouldn't even be able to lift 50kg from the floor and up to my neck. Well I might be able to but then i won't have enough energy to even do 1 rep. 65kg is just beastly though.
I've found that eating tons of food and taking a mutli/creatine/pre workout supp has made me significantly stronger. [editline]20th January 2011[/editline] It also helps that I have friends screaming at me to get the weight up
Many here seems to think bulking is necessary to gain muscle.
it usually is bro ask any IFBB pro and they`ll tell you the same [editline]20th January 2011[/editline]
Benched 170 today finally. and military pressed 145. Or he just works his shoulders harder than you. I can't see how people can do heavy military press. I work out on 65 pounds. Then again, I've already said that I don't put much focus on my shoulders.
i have big shoulders compared to the rest of my body. people even call me "that shoulder guy" because of my colossal shoulders. too bad they're not that strong though. perf borrow me your fukd shoulder genetics bro i want to be king for a day snort brotein off tits n shit
153 to 154 lbs awh yeah!
Do you guys ever do olympic lifts like hang clean/push press/snatch? I used to do those for football. Probably some of my favorite lifts to do
