Just got done doing bi's/tri's. Really started bulking up my diet this week and I've gone up 3 pounds since Monday.
Can anyone help me make a good training schedule? I have a bench, a barbell and dumbbells. I don't mind working out every day.
I like working my calves and abs, probably because they're the only muscles I've ever had at fairly good strength level (for me). Before I begun going to gym (about 5 years ago) I undertook an ab-get-better and went from 10 sit ups (helped with hands being as counterweigh) to 150 situps (with hands behind neck). Then I stopped. When I begun going to gym (4,5 years ago for 1,5 years) I quickly noticed how my calves were pretty strong (for me anyways), with me being able to lift my own bodyweigh plus myself with them for solid 10 reps x 2. Then I stopped. Played badminton in upper secondary (for the whole 3 year period), went from 30 mins of no rest playing = dead to 3 hours of no rest playing = dead. Then I stopped. Run uphill for 2 months last summer, got huge calves. Then stopped. My life story. Then stopped.

I must admit I laughed at that, rated you funny. I've only felt like that when I decided to go up the stairs in a ski jumping tower as fast as possible :P The next day was somewhat painful
I was trying to ski skate today... Utter failure, I don't know why but I just cannot do it for more than 3 secs without stopping. Anyways, back on topic. IT'S TRICEPS TIME
Australia's best Strongman goes to my gym. I see him like every time I go. He has this fucking pro stubbly-beard and he's fucking gigantic of course. He's friends with lots of powerlifters, too, and they hang around in bunches; it's really impressive. The best part is, they're all really nice people.
What do I need for P90x? I've heard it's good, and I'm thinking of borrowing the DVDs from a friend. I have dumbbells, a yoga mat and push-up bars.
i had a chest and tri day yesterday; maxed my dumbell press which was p good. then i woke up today. jesus fucking christ i can't express how painful everything is now, and i mean [I]everything[/I]. i don't know why, i only worked out my chest and tris yesterday but i woke up today feeling like the fucking devil penetrated my head throughout the whole night while i was sleeping. i can barely move without feeling like i'm about to collapse, my head kills, and it actually hurts when i just touch my skin or even blink. i think i might actually be coming up with a fever. fuck. i guess i'll have stay away from the gym for a while, which sucks because i was so close to reaching my bulk goal.
Ciwi, since I just did the P90X, I'd say the only thing more you need is the pull-up bar. I made do with dumbells, two mats (easier on knees when stretching) and a gymstick installed in the ceiling (since I'm too weak for real pull-ups).
Does anyone else prefer dumbbell press over barbell?

When I started, 135 pounds was what I did for reps, and now that's my warmup.
Leg day today, did sets with 500lbs on the leg press, hopefully it burns tomorrow.
