Endgame spoilers right in the middle of the video, WTF
I haven't played the game and I don't feel spoiled in any way. Are you sure that, whatever it is, is spoilery for people with no idea?
I did like that they made the engines ping when hot. I don't know why, but it was the most noticeable detail when i played.
I really enjoyed the ability to talk and have a simple conversation with random npcs.
Impotent Rage once told me that a guy asked him for a handjob.
I thought the one about cops dragging other cops to safety was pretty interesting, I had never noticed that.

trevor has the tattoo because michael faked his own death at the beginning of the game, which makes your post kind of ironic :v:
The buses in GTA V have actual routes and arrive on schedule - here's a map someone made:
Actually, the guy who made this map said that he mostly made this up, because buses spawn randomly and arrive randomly.
There aren't any set routes, the buses spawn randomly like any other vehicle. The map is pretty much made up, and based upon what the system actually looks like in LA with some liberties.
It took about three months, although I did put this on the backburner for about a month since work got in the way.

sorry
And yet they got rid of some details with the cars, like how you can no longer get out without turning it off
And the drivetrain deal isn't totally correct, the Antelope (Corolla in real life) is rear wheel drive, whereas it's supposed to be front. Plus Michael's car is (iirc) rear wheel drive, whereas that's supposed to be AWD
Hell even the Bugatti clone is rear wheel drive ingame, and that has permanent AWD in real life

the bugatti and michael's car are awd, they just do rwd burnouts.
Had no idea about the cops dragging each other, that's sweet as hell
oh shit and the drag racing thing is pretty awesome too
yeah, but they removed the wounded/unconscious state for civilians.
Seriously, why?
yeah, but they removed the wounded/unconscious state for civilians.
Seriously, why?
No. They'll still get knocked out. I've seen it enough times. Just shooting the shit out of them then expecting the paramedics to do something about it is fruitless. But beating them until they collapse, they can help with that.
The idle first person mode was in GTA San Andreas
[editline]25th December 2013[/editline]
But CJ would actually talk and start singing which was really weird
I remember once i left the PS2 to get something to eat and i had the volume up a far amount, all you hear is CJ singing and i was like what the fuck

awwoooo
Less obvious things that were also in GTAIV include having traction control, ABS, and different types of suspension between cars.
Does GTA V have that too?

That was like, the funnest part of messing around with them.
Some of these are really cool, others are just IGN wetting themselves over V.
While many of these things have been done before, it's still very cool to see so many of them in one game.
Does GTA V have that too?
Nah, they've made driving way more arcadey again.

Have you actually played the game? It's more realistic than GTA 4's handling was, cars actually handle how you'd expect them to in real life instead of swerving like fuck at any attempt to do handbrake turns.
I find it interesting that going into a tunnel loses the GPS but not the radio.

Yes, I've actually completed the game and I think that the only differences between the cars are drivetrains and weights. The handling on every car is noticeably light and easy to control.
I find it interesting that going into a tunnel loses the GPS but not the radio.
Do you lose radio in tunnels? Never happened to me. GPS on the other hand does lose signal.
I thought some of the things they missed were more interesting than a lot of the things they included, like being able to light an oil spill with your car's backblast.
People complimenting your car doesn't require you to have spent lots of money customizing it. Someone yelled out "Sweet wheels bro!" when I was driving a lawnmower.

i know i would
All of this is easy to do.
A lot of things are easy to do. What matters is whether devs will do it or not.
Big titles in particular don't want their devs focusing on little things, but big trailer worthy stuff.
Cool details. I don't personally think the GTA games are fun but I can't help but admire the intense dedication to world building rockstar has.
when your gps regains it's signal after exiting a tunnel you can hear interference through your car's radio
I really like how if you go as high as possible you can see the curvature of the earth.

It's just a fisheye camera effect or something
It's just a fisheye camera effect or something
It's actually the fact that their sky / fog / world is spherical instead of square. Pretty cool though, I think it's because of the sky being a sphere but I'm sure it's a combination of things that make it look like that, not a fisheye lens effect though.
