Oh joy. A lazy way to cash in more, but I guess it cant make the films worse.

I'm one of those strange breeds of 'normal' people who didn't think the prequels were bad at all and actually thinks the changes done to the DVD version were quite enjoyable. I guess that means I should be circumcised and sacrificed to Satan because I've got not chance. I liked Indy 4 too.

They need to remake the Star Wars movies... No, not the old ones... They need to remake the NEW ONES. Remake 1, 2, 3 in the style of the original (4, 5, 6)... The older movies were soooo much better.

the only change on the dvd version i disliked was replacing Sebastian Shaw with Hayden Christianson

Every single bit of CGI placed in the original trilogy made the entire film drop a few rungs on the ladder of respect. The Star Wars saga is the biggest train-wreck in film. It started off so well.

Most people seemed to hate it, so I guess "normal" to you would put you in the minority. But really, have you [I]actually [/I]watched it? Personal taste/opinion aside, the writing sucks. I know, I study literature. George Lucas took the only really cool characters and killed them off (they also seemed to be the best actors, too, which is a shame). Count how many times the word "plot" is used in Episode 2. Count how many times the poor librarian says "If it isn't in the records, it doesn't exist" in Episode 2. The aformentioned love scenes with Ani/Padima go absolutely no where, there is no progression of story: the scenes start with Ani being confused/pissed off/conficted/ and the end with Ani confused/pissed off/conflicted. THERE IS NO DEVELOPMENT. I'm only picking on Episode 2 because it's one I saw recently. But Episodes 1 and 3 are the same. The acting is terrible. Try to not laugh when Ani's mom dies. Do it. Look at her, stare at her as she dies. If it helps, turn the sound off. It is truly laughable. And then Ani get's all crazy. I don't even want to mention the acting in Episode 1. I think the only way you can be unaffected by how bad the prequals are is if you are: [LIST] [*]Too young to be cultured. [*]Nostalgia hard (because you were too young when you saw it to understand anything about taste. Hell, you were shitting your pants, so you can't be expected to know what good film is). [*]High as a kite and/or drunk as a skunk [*]Getting a blow job while watching. [*]Hanging by your neck and/or bleeding out. [/LIST] Seriously, tell me the acting and the writing wasn't bad. Tell me that all of the terrible parts of movie weren't directly George Lucas's fault. Give me compelling points, and I will listen. Until then: George Lucas, I hate you. You are a dick. (BTW, I liked Indy 4, but that is because I understood it to be a Post Modern Indy and a throwback to 1950's-60's Red Scare Sci-Fi, which I'm pretty sure was Spielberg's doing, not Lucas. Lucas just wanted races and motorbikes and people swinging from vines.)

It will be taking place between Episode III and IV. It'll be proper 3D like you'd see in most theme park attractions, not your basic film 3D.
