My face after reading the OP.
I can't believe one month has passed so quickly. I've been so swamped the last month, I've not had any time to update Marc's status, how he's doing, and how he's growing. First let me just say Marc is growing like a vine. Well, he is a vine, which would mean that he's growing at the normal speed of a vine. Anyway just a week after I posted his groundbreaking, he started spreading out in his new place and growing bristles all over himself. He told me it was to protect from ants and whatnot. He also had me take down the wall surrounding him, because it didn't give him enough to grow. The florida weather is good for watermelons. It'll rain one minute, and the sun will be shining the next, giving him a perfect balance. In other news, I think Marc wants to be a comedian; the other day I was sitting with him out in the rain and he said "How long does it take for a watermelon to screw in a lightbulb?" so I obviously asked him how long, and he said "Six months, as a watermelon would have to expand his vines up to the light-bulb." I told him I didn't think it was funny, but he told me you had to be a watermelon to understand the humor. Anyway, here's a nighttime picture I took a few minutes ago;

Also an unrelated update in my life, I've recently assembled a platoon of delicious IBC rootbeer in my fridge. I couldn't possibly name each and every one of them individually, so I just gave the whole bunch of them a single name. [i]The Brew Crew[/i]. How slick does that sound? I got a huge case of them at Costco, and just popped open the first one. Yum. Picture of my root beer cache;
