I found The Butterfly effect pretty fucked up, but I was about 12 when I first saw it.
The Prestige. /thread
Funny Games and Memento Have yet to see the Prestige, is it good?
The Shining.. one of the best psychological stories ever written in my opinion. love it :)

Shutter Island and Inception. Damn you Leonardo :argh:
Altered States
I liked that movie Identity. Has Dr. Cox in it, and JOhn Cusack.
Well, a lot of his stuff is fucking mind blowing. Except for a few, like Dune.
Except basically none of David Lynch's films are actually psychological, they're just surreal and postmodern. While it messes with your head, they're generally not thrillers, or psychological. They're just weird. (On a side note, his best was Twin Peaks in my opinion) To the person who said Cube, no. The Cube series, I personally don't like, at all. But the black-and-white film that it was based on, Jim Henson's "The Cube", YES. Watch it, now.
Mother. Fucking. Machinist.
Naked Lunch Videodrome Perfect Blue
Vanilla Sky fucked with my head pretty good. I heard it sucked but it was on TMN one day and I decided to leave it on, actually enjoyed it in the end.
Donnie Darko TIME PARADOX

I just really enjoyed a lot of his postmodern surrealist films, I'm into that kind of shit.
Identity was also great. Very good twist at the end :v: [editline]04:48PM[/editline] And The Usual Suspects. It's not much of a psychological movie. But it has a fantastic twist at the end. Who is Kaiser Sose?
Paranormal activity lol.
Session 9.....I guess it's not as mind blowing as Memento or some of the others listed, but it's most definitely a great psychological thriller.
The Machinist.... That was a great movie, and the whole thing was a magnificent mindfuck... Although the ending actually explained the whole movie.
Antichrist. A movie that will rape the everlasting fuck out of your mind. Subtile symbolism and themes as well as plain disturbing imagery and a nightmarish athmosphere will scew your subcounscious so badly... It is about a couple who lose their baby child. Right from the start the images are extremely explict and we dive right into the protagonists' brains. We see everything as they experience it. The man, who is a psychologist tries to help his wife, by trying to make her overcome the terrible depression of her child's death and the grief that follows. They take a vacation in the forrest, alone as a kind of therapy. But in the remoteness of the nature, all pathologic conditions start to get worse and out of control. And as you watch the movie, you are so fucking immerged in these characters that you feel their pain, depression, madness and the strange beauty of it all first handed. The movie also deals with many differend psychological themes. If you read a little Freud, you will definately have a fun time analyzing the movie. It is for example a film about the relation between man and women and our savage nature. The woman as the mother with her special emotional life and relation with her child have no sympathy from the man who is a rational thinker and dominant to the point of teaching her how to breathe. In the course of the movie, we see how a normal relation is stripped down to the very sceleton of human behavior all the way to savage, animalistic instincs until the whole thing collapses. In the end, you will feel deeply disturbed and emotionally drained. Definately a movie for adults, not because the disturbing visuals, but because you need to understand the sensitive themes of parentship, family and adult relationship to fully feel the characters. well, I just typed this in one go and it got way too long and out of hand. Anyway, rate me if you found this informative. just want to praise on of my favourite movies
The Machinist.... That was a great movie, and the whole thing was a magnificent mindfuck... The ones you see when viewing it again and again.
The Matrix Trilogy was a mindfuckery to me. And also, Dead Leaves.
