I'm going to say this now and that pendulum are quite shit live. Their albums are well made though.
Kidding me? They're fucking fantastic live.
Unless you're talking about the O2 gig, which is a different case entirely from what I heard.
hey i am the brother of one of the guys in pendulum lol and i love your guys feedback haha o my god im stunned i thought we had no fans oh my god
The break beat in "set me on fire" is amazing. Recently got into this artist and genre, I like it alot!

Are you joking? they are fucking fantastic.
My god, Self Vs Self is incredible. So is Immunize and all of the Island. Those three are probably the three best tracks, followed by Salt in the Wounds and Watercolour.
I can understand why people would like Set Me on Fire because it's really unique and everything but it really isn't my type of thing.
Also, is it just me, or is Crush nothing more than a second part to Salt in the Wounds?
I like it, but it isn't making it to my top 10 this year.
I like self Vs self, it's a decent change of pace.
But i fucking WISH that the second song in this intense mix was on the album, so bad.

And ransom, goddam that song fuckin kicked my ass.
For some reason not many people like immunize as much as, for example, vulture. I think it's the best song on there.
I gotta get me this!
Holy Shit The Island
Encoder is probably the most meaningful song I have ever heard.
The end of something great should be equally great as well.
"For everything that could have been, at least we took the ride. There's no relief in bitter ends, might as well let it die." :buddy:
Crush, Immunize, The Island, Witchcraft, Comprachicos, Set Me on Fire and Genesis are my favorites.
I don't like Self vs Self. It sounds like they just threw in an In Flames song, it should be on their album, not Pendulums.
Guh, I can't stand any bit of Self Vs Self that has the throat ripping "singing", the start sounds awesome though.
The Fountain and Crush are probably my favorites.
There's only one question though.
Dawn or dusk?

Dawn.

Haha, wow, when you've heard as much metal as I have (not saying I like all of it) In Flames sounds like Taylor Swift compared to shit like Thy Art is Murder. I'm completely desensitized to IF style vocals, I could barely differentiate SvS from the rest of Immersion besides the obvious presence of guitar.
/end pointless tangent about people being sensitive to thngs which aren't actually very bad at all

Whilst I know how some people can like it, sometimes I much prefer being able to understand what they're saying :P
I still prefer Hold your colour
Told a friend about Pendulum 2 days ago and now he's buying Immersion before me. :saddowns:
Crush has some similarities to Granite.

That's my point though, out of all the "screamy" metal bands I've ever heard, In Flames is definitely completely comprihensible.
Oh no, an off-topic page king is a bad idea, so, um,
This album is awesome.
That should do it.
Yeah, In Flames singer is as comprehensible as Rob Swire imo. In Flames are the Jonas Brothers of Extreme metal though.
Well, I went to see them live last night, and oh my FUCKING GOD. They were GOOD. They played about half the songs off the new album, amongst their old stuff, but they had like cool extended versions of the new songs since it was live, etc. etc.
Obviously the masses love Watercolour, because when they played it, the entire thousand-odd people there were all singing :v:
Was it DJ or live band?
Just been listening to salt in the wounds. Heard some WOBWOBWOBWOB in there :raise:
So far my favorites are:
Set me on Fire
Watercolour
Witchcraft
Crush
The Island Part II (Dusk)
Very very good album, I love Pendulum!!
Immunize ftw

In Cardiff right? If so I was there, and it was absolutely amazing.
I went to see them last night.
Easilly the best gig I've been to.
Like TehDoomCat said earlier, they did a few of their new stuff and quite a few of the older stuff. Their ending was brilliant, they said goodnight and thanks and went off stage for like 2 minutes.
They came back on and then did Turantula and Hold your colours. Saved the best until last.

God damnit I want them to come to my shitty little state.
Boise Idaho =(
I'm kinda pissed. Pendulum performed live down here in Brighton the other week and I didn't go. And to top that off they then went to the club I happened to be in but I was kinda stuck doing shit a girl so I didn't get to meet any of them.
To be honest I dunno what I would've enjoyed more, dancing and shit with the girl or meeting pendulum.
