Virigils Cream Soda and Root Beer is Godly.
stewards root beer represent
Tommy Knocker brewery in Colorado used to sell their sodas in stores in colorado but stopped a few years back, they had the best rootbeer, orange creme, and keylime creme sodas imaginable.
They sell virgils at a store called market basket in the massachusetts and new hampshire area i always wanted to try it but kept forgetting to buy it
I love Virgils, but I haven't had it in a long time. I don't go to Market Basket, seeing as Hannaford (Shop and Save to some of you) is across the street :v: [editline]17th January 2011[/editline]
Here, better have some of this. [img_thumb]http://farm1.static.flickr.com/99/305521160_2a7a6b387c.jpg[/img_thumb]
Please tell me this is real.
Please tell me this is real.
It's real. I've had it.
I've had Virgil's root beer before, the best root beer I've ever had.
It's real. I've had it.
did it taste as bad as it sounds
whatabout tentacle grape [img_thumb]http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/40/847789-soda_img_1_super.jpg[/img_thumb]
Wow, I'm retarded. I just got the grape part and I've heard of the stuff a long time ago. v:v:v
did it taste as bad as it sounds
I can't remember it was a long time ago. Probably. [editline]17th January 2011[/editline] I just watched a video where they said it tasted like pepto bismol.
If i went into that store, i'd pass out. I love going into shops that sell all these exotic and interesting soda's, i collect the bottles as well. One of my favorite brands is local, called Hanks: All of those flavors are amazing, they used to have a lime flavor that i loved, but they stopped producing it.
Virgil's root bear is the shit. Almost anything made by Jones is amazing too.
"micro brewed soda" You don't brew soda. You make sugary syrup and add carbonated water. :ms:
Here, better have some of this. [img_thumb]http://farm1.static.flickr.com/99/305521160_2a7a6b387c.jpg[/img_thumb]
so fucking ironic
fountain sodas are also delicious
Why is it better? Because with mass produced soda's, you can't taste the care or work put into them. They are all cared for and made with you in mind. Which reflects in it's quality.
but i love dr. pepper but i gotta say, I like this thread because it didnt consist of "SEE THIS MORTHERFUCKING SODA RIGHT HERE? THIS SHIT IS TASTY AS FUCK"
That looks delicious, I must try some.
I have some difficulty finding it around even where i live, and i live about 30 minutes away from the bottling plant. Best bet is probably amazon.
I've only seen Jones soda sold at Panera Bread, and I never go to PBread. :smith:
I've only seen Jones soda sold at Panera Bread, and I never go to PBread. :smith:
Is there a Fresh & Easy or Whole Foods near you? If so you can probably pick up some Jones and Virgil's.
I've only seen Jones soda sold at Panera Bread, and I never go to PBread. :smith:
PBread stopped supplying them in our area, "they werent selling as good as they used to" Fucking hipsters, drinking new drinks like bawls instead.
but i love dr. pepper but i gotta say, I like this thread because it didnt consist of "SEE THIS MORTHERFUCKING SODA RIGHT HERE? THIS SHIT IS TASTY AS FUCK"
Just saw this. Thanks. I needed to make a reply to that coke thread.
I get a virgil's once every week when I go for groceries. It's the best tasting pop out of jones and hanks (only other 2 premium sodas). One thing I don't like about jones is that it has a bad aftertaste to it.
Never tried the sodas seen in the OP. If I could I'd buy a whole bunch online.
http://www.beveragesdirect.com/sodas/
but i love dr. pepper but i gotta say, I like this thread because it didnt consist of "SEE THIS MORTHERFUCKING SODA RIGHT HERE? THIS SHIT IS TASTY AS FUCK"
I just pictured like Hulk Hogan picking up a can of coke and yelling that, thanks for the before work giggles
I make cream soda syrup at home and have a carbonator. Thats the real microbrew :smug: Italian style cream soda, shit is cash. I also make Ginger beer. Ginger BEER not ginger ale.
Actually I would have thought that bigger companies would have a larger name in the market and be more widely known, therefore meaning they could just put out whatever crap they wanted and people would buy it just because it's got the name on it, whereas a smaller company would need to make the very best drink they can because of their smaller popularity and are probably advertised more through word of mouth than big advertising schemes
Yeah because when companies get big they can just market shit huh. Taste is subjective and any assumed "extra quality" just because it's micro brewed, ceteris paribus, is you being stupid and a fanboy due to their small market share and advertisment of being a poor small brewery. I mean do you think if these companies got masses of investment and intrest they'd stay the same small size because it helps quality? no they'd shoot up in size while still claiming to have the same great taste.
Personally, i'm fond of Sioux City Root Beer/Cream Soda/Birch beer. Too bad they only seem to be sold on the west coast...
I had some micro-brewed orange soda and I thought it would taste crap but it was the best thing ever
http://www.beveragesdirect.com/sodas/
Holy shit this site is amazing.
