I keep meaning to go donate blood and they ring me monthly asking me to come back since I've donated several times before but when I really want to I do something stupid and can't. eg; get cut from metal, get blind drunk, take certain pills (over the counter/prescription drugs) Its fun going though last time I went I met a guy that was like the manager of the roads in the area.

Being O-, I donate at least every 5 months or so. I've always liked doing it, the only bad part of it is the finger prick.

Next time someone donates blood ask to have a tube of it "to go" they love that, great laughs all around

This thread has made me want to donate blood again. I might see if i can give that platelet shit, get some good karma points.

If anyone ever asks me to donate some small part of me, like blood or some spinal fluid, to save someone's life, you wouldn't have to ask twice, let alone beg.
