Wrong coffin, mate. Also, love the use of the derogatory term "apologist" - classy.
Thanks, I'm a classy man after my old man. The coffin is filled with nails plenty, I just have to add a few of my own nails. Nothing wrong with that?
Stop labeling yourselves as Christians if you don't follow it to the core bible, because then you are in your own religious terms. Belief in god doesn't constitute religion either; It's more spiritual then religious.
This is getting ridiculous, I see people saying "I'm a christian but I don't kill my neighbor for working on Sundays" and they don't realize this is what you have to do if you were a real christian.
Christians don't have to follow the old testament, they just have to follow the new testament.
You also don't have to believe in everything the Bible says, just the principles that Jesus taught and God.

No one has to follow anything, Jesus said he ain't coming.

and it says this where in the bible
Kingdom of God.
Was a good movie.
and it says this where in the bible
It doesn't, that's the thing. People are interpreting religion in their own way and call it Christianity.
Okay, champ, you're edgy and witty. However, you obviously have /no/ in-depth knowledge of Christianity, so stop acting like you do.
Why do you care even to the most minute degree?
Okay, champ, you're edgy and witty. However, you obviously have /no/ in-depth knowledge of Christianity, so stop acting like you do.
My in-depth knowledge streams from 10 years of my grandparents telling me I was going to hell for every little thing I did, and I can read the bible backwards.

Why is it always why and not why not?

But you evidently don't understand key tenements, e.g. the Kingdom of God. I don't know what kind of Christianity you were taught, but it sounds wacked.

You don't understand the key tenements of peter pan either.

"Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes." Romans 10:4
"23 Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. 24 So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. 25 Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law." "Forget them, Wendy. Forget them all. Come with me where you'll never, never have to worry about grown up things again." - Peterpan
I believe in christian values. That's enough to make me christian. :colbert:
I believe in christian values. That's enough to make me christian. :colbert:
I believe we shouldn't kill each other, does that make me peter fucking pan?
those bible quotes contradict everything you are saying so you should probably go back and read them (read them backwards if you really must)
Why would anyone even attempt to question my knowledge of a very creative book, it's not a race or contest of who knows what fairytale better.
I believe we shouldn't kill each other, does that make me peter fucking pan?
Your argument doesn't make any sense.
I believe we shouldn't kill each other, does that make me peter fucking pan?
That doesn't really make sense at all, what does peter pan have to do with killing people?
Your argument doesn't make any sense.
Ah to the ignorant, it does not. My point is your beliefs are equivalent to me believing peter-pan isn't an imaginary being. This has been said millions of times.
That doesn't really make sense at all, what does peter pan have to do with killing people?
Well if you weren't so ignorant and read the book, he denounces killing Captain Hook in favor of living in peace with everyone despite their immoral intentions.
I'm basing my life and moral values off a fairytale.

isn't one of the signs of a false prophet them stating that they are more important than gods law
Im a swedish native jew, but I consider myself Christian when Im not praying for a new holocaust.
People who rated agree in the first post clearly did not read through the rest of this thread.
now youre just going off on a ridiculous tangent
you are arguing about how people are misuing a word - or did you forget?

Sure you can follow peter pan as a moral example, just like people can follow muhammed or jesus or their parents or whatever they think is nice. Now I still don't see how it makes me un-christian

No I'm not, peter-pan has as much credibility; The bible only has the age thing going for it.

You would have to tell me what exactly you believe in from the bible.
I consider myself Christian since I've, by my own, read 2 pages from the bible.
I think this mainly because Christianity has become the easiest pushover choice for moderates who want to appear cultured. Seems Christianity has been watered down a lot more than other religions so is more accessible to those not serious about it.
There could only have ever been one christian and he died on the cross (if he existed at all in the first place).
