It's too big to be in 3/4. It wouldn't look right contrasted on a 2D terrain. And the little mans can be combat units btw.
That looks pretty cool, TY2D2.
I'm so fucking confused. I've been using things like this to scale my vehicles: http://www.inetres.com/gp/military/cv/inf/AAV/LVTP7.gif and http://www.inetres.com/gp/military/cv/tank/Leopard2/Leopard2.gif And they seem to make sense comparing the two, but the LVTP7 (AAV) looks like a fucking fortress compared to the tank, is it supposed to be like that? (Not satisfied, but I have 3 or 4 other vehicles that are just silhouettes sitting around, so scale is all that matters at the moment)
Definitely not right... For instance, the cannon on that tank should be about half the length of the LVTP7. That tank needs to be about 200% bigger. Once you get the rollers [wtf are they called?] in the tanks treads the same size as the APCs, they ought to be scaled right. [editline]02:44AM[/editline] On second thought, depending on how big your guys are, it might be better to scale the AAV down, insteado f making the tank bigger. Since something that big doesn't really work well in PW. The less horizontal contact they make with the terrain the better.
I exaggerated the LVTP7 because I wanted more than a coaxial MG :) But that's a good idea, not making the tank any bigger than that. And I hadn't compared the treads yet...
Come quite a way from my first sprite sheet: Keep in mind, my sprite sheet is still pretty unfinished; and recently I've been focusing more on effects then the sprites themselves. (Hence the several explosions)

Hm, a bit more contrast with the shading could be good on those guys, DanRatherman. And when he is holding/stabbing with the spear, his legs look a little odd. I love your other guys, btw :D

That army is so trippy...
I'm working on a civil war army atm, i find spriting so addictive D: The parachuter was added at the last minute last night, so it looks crap. But any way, i've got Walking, Running, Aiming, Aiming up, Aiming Down, Standing down (or reloading), with some cannons as well. The Army guy is there for a height comparison and for help with the running poses
They're a bit hard to make out right now, and their legs look very jagged. I think you could probably desaturate the colours a bit too, or something like that.
Yeah this is still the first phase so major updates will be a coming.
link doesn't seem to work, -znip-

I do this while I talk on skype with friends, sprite. And they make it impossible to do anything else but this so I have lots, and lots, of time. Most of the vehicles are WIPs, especially the attack helicopter. But I kept the original AAV because I realized it'd make for a nice unrealistic mobile base ;)
holy shit man those are niiiice

Early Yesterday, the Trug Maritime Navy launched it's newest ship, a AEGIS Class Destroyer affectionately named, 'This Side Up'. The Ship was launched from a Dry Dock in Trug-Gona. This newest addition to the Trug Navy features the most modern and technologically advanced warfare systems avaliable. Using powerful computers and radars to track and guide weapons to destroy enemy targets, it is said to be the strongest ship ever devised for naval warfare on Facepunch. 'This Side Up' features several defensive and offensive weapons such as the Phalanx CIWS, Tomahawk Land Attack Cruise Missiles, Seahawk Missiles and Shipboard torpedo and naval gunnery systems are all included. It also features a hanger cabable of housing a single SeaTrug Helicopter. That carrier is the sex, man. Must have taken quite a while to make.
Thanks, Took me all night. It's a Destroyer, not a carrier though. Two minor features I want to point out, In the weapons control room, the one on the top above the conference room there is that screen with green lights, each missile that's fired, 20 total it goes red to indicate it's no longer active. One for the volly in the front and back respectively. And behind the Engine Control room that switch board of lights indicates damage to various area of the ship. The Ship it's self features alot of things the carrier didn't have, all while making it better looking and functional, I did away with elevators, added stairs to different areas, cannons, vulcan cannons, I added a library and Rec room as well and a water purification plant as well.
Awesome man... just awesome
If it's a destroyer it could possibly look nicer with some heavy-calibre wepaons there. I was originally going to say that, except I assumed it was a carrier (Because of the helicopter. Stupid, I know.) Anyway, even without it looks good.
