It all depends, black outlines can make or break a sprite.

Considering that your men are skinny, the black outlines fit them.
If you create sprites that are bulkier, than you should remove them.

No, the more bulk you have the more detail you can go into,
Therefore the smaller the sprite the less detail, hence the black lines.
Hey, I've been a lurker here for a bit of a while, I finally decided to try my hand at spriting and I have a few questions
How many times have Warhammer 40K Orks been done before? I've seen a handful of 40k things but no collections of Orks.
What do you think of this pair of running legs? I'm trying to make some WH40K Orks that fit to about 25 pixels high. Would they fit well and does the shape of the legs look fine? The shoes aren't that good, I know but it's a start.
I think they might be a bit short or something, I'm not really working from a template, so as not to start flame arguments.

There are orks done already. For the running legs, did you ever run before? The knee is going backwards for what it's supposed to go.

The legs look pretty akward, I see that they try to run to the left but the shape of those legs are a bit odd.
It looks like you first drew the belt and then made the motion in which the legs ran.

Anyway, nice sprites, but L4D has been done before...
The health bars won't really work out with regular PW but maybe it would catch on in another game mode?
The pistol poses seem a bit stiff... maybe try to improve on that

I love these.
May want to refine the dropship a bit and make the tank less square-ular.
I think the square tanks kinda fits in with the rest of the soldiers.

Yeah, keep it simple but the overall shape of it atm isn't great (sloped back of the turret for starts)

Was bored, how are these? Mostly just want input on the dropship.
1. How's its spriting.
2. How's the shading.
3. How should it be kept in the air, as of now it has side propellers, 2 of them which makes absolutely zero sense but I can't think of any other way and a normal helicopter blade would look wierd.
4. Perspective?
