Nearly every american show is like that. In the UK versions of the gordon ramsay shows there's nearly no sound effects.

God damn I hate this sound so much, it is in almost every reality show here from what I've seen.
This sounds effect always reminds me of walking with dinosaurs and nothing else
Is it even used in the series?
