One image HDR is impossible. It's never actually going to be High Dynamic Range.
ofcourse it is, but it's just not done traditionally. "it is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas of a scene than normal digital imaging techniques."

What is it?

"it is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas of a scene than normal digital imaging techniques."
It is also called the Shadow/Highlights tool in Photoshop. :v: Easy as pie. Oh and, "HDR" setting dials all the way to full doesn't make a good picture. Also, some more MSN work with photoshop touch-ups of course : (Note - I know the hat is wrong. No need pointing that out) (Note - I also know the color in this one isn't the best. I didn't have my monitor's color profile calibrated.) My favorite out of the bunch. These are just random doodles by the way. You know, for fun?
My attempt for a HDRI. I dont have a good camera to do it, so i just did it with my mobile phone. And i only used one picture, becouse i can't change the exposure. [img.]http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/6638/jelleh.png[/img] Handflip or how you will name it. ;) I think it came out quite nice for a one picture HDRI.
look at this and the original side-by-side and then tell yourself that the "HDR" looks better

Pretty nice Maya. But the face is really screwed. The eyes have incredible downs and the right pupil is placed higher than the left (form our view) which makes it look even more downsy. The eyes also lack a lot of soul, they are simply dead, blank, no details or sign of life. Also the fact that she is almost looking straight at us but facing her back to us gives a really creepy zombie look.
Unfortunately it's not very creative, and it's weird looking. Media tag'd for use of penis.

It's like CLICK...................................................................................CLICK. I just want it to go CHCHICK.
