I've done a few car shots myself. I did these right after washing it. See the difference.

The Mustang in the picture is not my car. I was outside when a buddy of mine stopped by and I snapped the second pic as he was pulling up, and the first after he had parked.
As for the lighting, I couldn't help that. It was noon when the pictures were taken, the sun was high, and bright.
I'm looking to buy a polarizer lens soon, but at the time I don't have one readily available.
I really like your shots, the first one seems a bit bright, but brilliant non-the-less, and I love the second one.

Well the first one i was going for the over exposed look. I liked it, made it a bit more interesting in my eyes. But thanks =)

vignetting. He's probably using either the RAW editor option to do it. Or the flickr edit tool. Those are the two I know :v:
